    Description:

    Michelstadt is a small airfield in southern Hesse, Germany. With a runway length of 600 m and a 4° upward slope on runway 26 it makes it an interesting airfield to fly.

    In real life the airfield is equipped with runway lighting and PAPI. The airfield and buildings were remodeled to original pictures taken recently of the actual buildings and surroundings (no Google-something). Custom models were build, terraforming and vegetation adjusted to match the real airfield.

    Since this is my home airfield in real life, I wanted to give it a more realistic touch.

    I hope you enjoy this little airfield.

    Installation:

    Unzip file and copy folder into your MSFS2020 community folder:

    \\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\LocalCache\Packages\Community

    Bin von Bayreuth nach Michelstadt geflogen, per VOR ohne GPS-tools.

    Stadt gefunden, FP gefunden :-) ... Schick

    FP funktioniert einwandfrei mit der aktuellen Version

    Heute mit der C152 (jplogistics) VFR von EDDR Livewetter hierher nach EDFO geflogen und auf dem Flugplatz rumspaziert. Schöner Flug und wirklich sehr gelungener Flugplatz. Schöner Anflug gerade beim heutigen Livewetter und nah am Sonnenuntergang. Anschließend nach Aschaffenburg EDFC weitergeflogen; auch sehr schön. EDFO immer eine Landung wert.

    Thank you for this airport! Works fine with the most up to date version of MSFS and is a beauty to fly into. Ontop of a hill outside of Frankfurt with a sloped runway and nice custom buildings! Would recommend visiting in the sim for sure.

    What a great and atmospheric small airfield. Great work. In VR it‘s brilliant. The up and down taxiways and the sloped runway with the great environment.

    Here I started my night vfr rating one year ago in real life. Nice airfield but not so easy at night.
