    airports in french guyana

    Here is a pack of all airfield in  french guyana included main international airport "rochambeau" but also small GA airfields. The fields are all in one package (with separate BGLs for each airfield) to reduce the numbers of new entries in the community folder .

    I discovered recently that when creating new airport  in DEV mod we can make several airport in one package and then compile with the SDK​​
    So I recommend as much as possible to all scenery designers who make multiple airfields in the same area to put them together in order to make one package to drop in the "community" folder otherwise the community folder will be full of thousands entries very soon....)

    1...rework of St Laurent Du Maroni (SOOM) (asphalt runway, apron and various objects)
    2...fix the issues with SOGN which name is Dorlin and not Grand santi
        (2 issues in MSFS:city name is Dorlin and airfield name is dorlin)(SOOD is now the new fictitious icao code, as I had to delete SOGN in order to change name to Dorlin)
    3...rework of Dorlin airfield (SOOD) (just created a grass runway with some terraforming)

    Hi, this scene seems not work since the last World update (XIX) or I have made an error ?

    Even Mod installed, Airports don't appear in world map in order to create flight plan.

    Great job !
    Finally able to fly to the various French Foreign Legion bases in French Guyana ;-)
    However, is there a way for you to create an exclude for SOCA or to release a version without SOCA ?
    SKY-ADDITIONS released SOCA scenery and it's conflicting with yours. That would be awsome...

    Thanks for the work but I think that this mod needs some updates, SOAA basically disappears when the mode is loaded, SOOR has a second runway overlayed and rotated by a degree, so, it is basically unusable :/

    What was the original filename? I wasn't prompted to overwrite an existing file after moving it to my folder.

    original filename or folder is "guyana" or "guyana airports" delete it and copy the new folder into your community folder

    why does this not show when i search "guyana" i found it by accident...what other guyana sceneries are hidden here?

    it seems that we can only search by "airport ICAO" "airport name" and "city name" not by region nor countries

    Hello ! I downloaded this file and tested it immediately. Interesting to see several airports there but one thing should be improved. Too many high trees are disturbing approach of taking off. Can't these tree be excluded if it is not so in real word.

    of course I can reduce tree size, but I think in this tropical amazonian forest trees are very tall, from what I was told by some people

    and landing are quit difficult to be done safely....

    but if you find some airfields impossible to land on, let me know I will fix it

    Is it wpossible to remores the "Custom" runways like on Sophie or Darlin. I prefer having the Photoreal Runway ;)

    I prefer separate airports than all in the same package. It's makes it easier to check what airports we have installed for each country and also you may prefer to use in the same country one airport from one developer and one from another developer. With all in the same package you can't deactivate just one with Addons Linker, you need to deactivate all.

    Not only does it help scenery designers , but it also helps everone else who downloads not having to download one airport scenery at a time i hope everyone does the same as you :).

    I am going through airports and updating the parking so airlines park in the correct spots. Not everything is 100% accurate, but it is very close and the pack will continue to grow. Both airlines and cargo spots are being updated. Airports are also including A380 gates.
