This file contains highly detailed versions of helipads in Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, and the Saltum HEMS in Northern Jutland.
More HEMS/Helipads will be added to this file, in coming updates.
The HEMS-helipad in Saltum is the newest helipad in Denmark. It opened up in 2021.
The Danish Helicopter Emergency Medical Service is a part of the danish pre-hospital services
The helipad on the rooftop of Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen opened in 2007.
The landing site is located in the central complex, in 77 metres altitude. There is an easy acces with the lift directly to hospital departments. The helipad has a status as an airport.

ICAO code of both?

No. The ICAO code for Saltum is wrong. I used EKSX. The ICAO code for Rigshospitalet is EKRH. Saltum should be EKSH, but I didn't know that when I made the files. But you cansearch for ICAO EKSX and EKRH. If you start at EKRH, use runway 32, for a start on the platform.

HEMS-Denmark
Helipads in Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet and Saltum Northern Jutland. The helipad in Saltum is the newest of the HEMS-platforms in Denmark, and serves Northers part of Jutland. The platform on the rooftop of Rigshospitalet was opened in 2007. These two platforms will be the first i a series of several HEMS-platforms in Denmark. They will be added in coming updates.
