    Beschreibung

    After the latest update from MVKY, version 2.1.0 is available to download as a interim update making the North and South Terminals usable again. Rest of the airport is still misaligned. I will try my best to get the rest of the airport done but this wont be as quick as this interim update.

    This GSX profile will bring real Gatwick operations to your sim. Everything in this profile is based on real life gatwick operations.

    Custom GSX menu for quicker selecting of stands. Stands are now grouped to South Terminal 1-38 / North Terminal 46-574 / West Park 130-145 etc.

    All pushback options are based on real standard pushbacks used at Gatwick based on the real Standard Pushback Manual and some popular non-standard pushes to allow other traffic to move around you.

    SafeDocks placed for all stands that use them (Most Safedocks at Gatwick are T2-18 models which isn’t modelled in GSX so T2S-24’s are used)
    Stop locations adjusted for more accurate parking relation between the aircraft and jet bridges 

    Individually placed Ground Service Equipment for each stand based on usual locations it is parked during aircraft arrival.

    Handling Companies are correct.

    Remote De-Icing Pad Sierra East and West

    Please report any bugs or strange goings on straight away and I will fix ASAP if needed (Gatwick can be a strange place)

     

    Copy both of the downloaded files, EGKK-MKVY.ini + EGKK-MKVY.py, and place it in the GSX profile directory, typically found in: 

    C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS

    If you notice anything not right eg. GSE crashing into things, pushbacks where the tug spins then please let me know ASAP so i can fix

    Hey Jordan, FYI MKYV has updated EGKK and has also moved the entire airport "a few metres East to line up with underlying Bing Map Ground Merging Textures" and so nothing in your excellent profile lines up anymore

    Thanks for even looking into it. I wish I could get my head round how to do it I'd happily try, but everytime I've tried It's eneded up worse :(

    When i spawn/repositiion plane at north terminal are not centre line and to far from the centre line..is it possible for you to check,TQ

    If I install one of the GSX profiles in this package, should I remove the one from mkvy's EGKK, such as EGKK-MKVY-PMDG737-600-GSX-VDGS.ini? Or can they co-exist?

    Hello, Yes you must remove all other GSX Profiles for EGKK

    Quick question... The GSX profiles make by the MKVY himself for his outstanding piece of what can only be described as art are type-specific... IOW, if you're flying the A320, you have to use the A320 profile, whereas if you're flying the 738, you have to use that one. Does this profile cover all potential aircraft selections, or is it specific to one or more as well? TIA!

    Smaller Stands for aircraft that fit A320/B738 were set up using a B738 and Larger stands for heavy aircraft were set up using B787-9. This gives GSX a position to stop the aircraft door. GSX will then stop the aircraft door in the same position no matter what aircraft type you are in. Its not going to be the most accurate position for all aircraft types if your looking at the nose wheel. but most aircraft we be within the stand and in reach of the jetty

    Double check that you have installed to the correct location. If the handlers arnt showing then the i doubt the profile is installed correctly. Also make sure that you don't have any other EGKK GSX profiles installed.

    Stand 49L does not work, It just says this gate has a default jetway and does not move.

    Apologies for not see this comment for so long.
    The jetway on 49 will only work on 49M. This is a limitation of the sim. 49L should be jetway served. My mistake listing it as a jetway stand in the profile. This has been fixed in the latest update. Should now get steps and pax walk into terminal
