This is Mar de Cortés International Airport which serves the town of Puerto Peñasco, or Rocky Point as it´s known in english. It´s the only town in Mexico that I know of that has a name in spanish and in english, also the only airport in Mexico I´ve seen that flies both the Mexican and American flags. 

It´s located a couple hundred miles from the U.S. border right on the upper tip of the Gulf of Cortés, which makes it a very popular destination for people from Arizona, so much so that some people consider it Arizona´s only beach town.

There´s been several attempts at establishing comercial routes to this airport however I think currently it´s only served by Aero Calafia connecting it with Mexicali or Tijuana with ERJ-145´s If I´m not mistaken.It´s mainly used by general aviation .

It´s located right on the Pinacate National Park wich features several volcanic craters and next to the Altar Desert which is the largest dune desert in America, it expands from Puerto Peñasco to Mexicali, It´s also near the Colorado River Delta, one of the most biodiverse places in the planet.
