Located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, 05S Vernonia is situated in a beautiful, yet challenging location with hills on every side, and a runway length of 896 metres. The scenery includes the entire airport area modelled to the tiniest details, with rusty buildings, signs and extensive clutter.
I'm sure you will be delighted by the atmospheric and characterful place that is Vernonia!

Hello, warning about this scenery : it is putting trees over airfields in the surrounding area including my 2 sceneries 30OR - Bero Field and 6OR8 - Holce and Oblack.
@EthnicFS : we're desperately waiting for a fix so we can use your scenery altogether ! :-)
FYI, without your scenery, I don't notice that the area is lacking any trees, it may have been fixed in later sim updates :-)

I've been so busy with your libraries that I completely overlooked this gem of an airfield. I really want to see your libraries continue to grow, but perhaps you could squeeze in another small Oregon airport like Myrtle Creek Municipal Airport (16S).

I think there is a major bug with the parking spot. I started at the parking spot (there seems to be only one) with the DHC2 Beaver (wheeled) and tried to taxi away from the builing towards the runway, but each time when turning, the plane got somehow stuck in the ground, then was only able to turn into the other side (where the house is) and "crashs" when hitting the builing.
Could you please look into this? Maybe move the parking spot about away from the building to be able to turn 180° with the Beaver without getting stuck or simple crashing into the builing?

Vernonia is a city in Columbia County, Oregon, United States. It is located on the Nehalem River, in a valley on the eastern side of the Northern Oregon Coast Range that is the heart of one of the most important timber-producing areas of the state. Logging has played a large role in the history of the city. The population was 2,151 at the 2010 census.
