This is Samos Aristachos Int'l Airport. The airport is named after Aristarchos of Samos, an ancient Greek astronomer, and mathematician, and lies within 5 km of the nearby town of Pythagorio. The airport features a single short runway serving both arrivals and departures. The airport's surroundings leave little room for error or mistake on the behalf of the pilots – with nearby mountains and sea at the end of the short runway. There are often strong Meltemi winds blowing from the north during the summer months which further contribute to the difficulty of the landing. Samos is famous for the approach into runway 09, where pilots have to use visual landmarks to navigate to the runway and make a sharp right turn on a very short final. Try it!
This scenery includes custom buildings for the new Terminal and the fire station. Bear in mind, I'm still new to Blender and the objects are not of the best quality. I will be updating everything with time, and it will look even better!

Known Bugs:
-Requesting a jetway and afterward a pushback causes a CTD (I haven't figured out the cause, I will try to solve it in the next update)
-Some ground textures such as the stop signs on the service roads are missing, because I'm having an issue with the materials. I will also try to fix this in the next update.

do you intend adding the crucial villages (especially the coastal village) and pier as these are most important for the visual appraoch onto RWY09.

Great scenery, and it worked fine after doing the changes recommended by british av geek. no crashes or anything.

Good scenery once you can get it to work out.
I had to apply BritishAvGeek's tip to sort out the constant CTDs I was having on this one (and yet, I only apply a few sceneries at the same time).

I was getting CTD issues with this scenery however, found that (like someone else below mentioned too) - if you go into the scenery folders and change the folder names materiallib to something like LGSMmateriallib, then go back to the layout.json and edit all of that to reflect the folder name change, it will work.
Otherwise, absolutely love the scenery! One of the best approaches and landings in Europe in my opinion with the challenge of the circling approach!

The STARS are missing a little data BUT their actually correct. it's a mandatory Circling Approach into Samos - if you want to see more check out a tutorial I've made for it and hopefully it'll make a bit more sense https://youtu.be/XMCZHM3QnGg

As BritishAvgeek mentioned they are indeed correct. Navdata and MSFS SDK are still quite limited. If you have Navigraph the MSFS beta version improves it. Otherwise, for the moment I'm not knowledgeable enough to create my own navdata changes.
