This scenery enhancement for Skive Lufthavn is now updated to version 2.1 It is still not finished but will be developed further. It was my first scenery project for MSFS and in the same style as my second project for EKVJ Stauning Airport.
Current features:
- PBR texturing throughout
- All default buildings and objects excluded
- 13 detailed custom buildings around the main apron
- Custom mesh for refuelling station
- 4 detailed custom buildings for the flying/parachute club
- 2 detailed custom buildings for the glider club
- Accurate aprons and taxiways
- Updated ground polygons
- Airport lighting
- Custom objects
- No 3rd party libraries except those included in MSFS2020 Standard Edition
- Low impact, initially less than 10Mb in total
Installation:
Unzippped scenery folder into Community
Known limitations:
Some ground artifacts if used with Google replacement maps addon.
No ATC, but the airport has in fact only radio by PPR, not even AFIS.

Det er blevet rigtig godt Hezza, som du har fået lavet, med EKSV Skive lufthavn.
Håber der er mange der vil bruge dit smukke arbejde.

Could you maybe be a bit more specific? I cannot reproduce any texture issues on my system with the Skive scenery.

My models are quite simple (the whole scenery is less than 20mb even though it is 100% PBR and includes objects also in the local area) so I didn't feel the need for pre-compiled LODs. The LODs are thus generated by your GPU via the game's engine. I guess it is something with your hardware, drivers, or in-sim graphic settings.

Hi there are you planning to make the HEMS base nearby?
Hi. I could certainly try. It's on the other side of Skive, so is too far to be included in EKSV, but the buildings look standard like the other bases, so a little project. Are you close to the base? Do you have any pictures?

Yeah as far I can see it looks alot like a standard HEMS base.
But sadly im not near the base and do not get by that far out.
Would be great to have the base as i think it is placed very well in the country.

The latest Bing data is unfortunate at Skive as there is cloud that causes default landclass terrain to display on and around the airfield. The update will cover this with more suitable textures and custom 3D buildings are included to reinstate three houses/farms that have been lost due to the missing data.
The new building at West Jump is also modelled, despite not being actually finished in real life at this time.
