Baadaran Airstrip (Mount Lebanon) V2.0

Baadaran Airstrip (Chouf / Mount Lebanon) is our first little project for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS).As we are learning scenery development techniques and practices for this new (wonderful) engine /platform, we could quickly implement this airstrip using the MSFS built-in Developer Mode.
Thanks to the lifelike world of MSFS, bush flying became at last fascinating and immersive right out of thebox. With Baadaran, you will enjoy bush flying in the valleys of the famous middle eastern mountains thatgave their name to the land where they rise: Lebanon.
NOTE: ADDITIONAL LIBRARIES REQUIRED
We used Third-Party Freeware Library Assets in the scenery. If you wish to see the included Library items around the airfield, you need to download and install the following libraries in your Community folder.

The typically 4-character alphanumeric code that represents the airport. Like KPHX = Phoenix, AZ, KLAX = Los Angeles, CA, MMAN = Monterrey, Mexico, etc. Thanks, it's great to have a cool airport in Lebanon.

This is an airstrip in the mountains that has no ICAO Identifier in real life. However in the documentation (PDF) we included in the package, we explain that we assigned to the airstrip the fictitious "OLBD" ICAO ID... But in real life it does not have one.

Hello everyone,
I added an FAQ about our major project (OLBA + Beirut). I understand many of you wish to have these scenery for MSFS...
Unfortunately life commitments are heavy on our side and we can't put time on these for the moment.
Hopefully the future will give us the chance to continue working on our big scenery projects...
The good news is that MSFS is here for a while :)

Baadaran Airstrip (Mount Lebanon)
Baadaran Airstrip (Chouf / Mount Lebanon) V2.0 for MSFS by Lebor Simulations. The airstrip is located near the town of Baadaran in the Chouf area / Mount Lebanon, 37 mi / 60 Km away from Beirut, at an elevation of 3450 ft / 1050 m aprox. Enjoy bush flying in the valleys of the famous middle eastern mountains that gave their name to the land where they rise: Lebanon.

NEW IN V2.0 • Replaced secondary infrastructure with new models (based on hints from photos) • Added a Gate at the entrance of the Lodges area. • Adjusted the vegetation at the airstrip • Reworked on the PBR Material to enhance the textures • Added an animated Lebanese Flag over the house (west of airstrip) • Added static and animated animals • Added static and animated people • Added a smoke effect from a barbecue in the camping site (south of the airstrip).
