New York City Heliports
Collection of Heliports located in New York City. This is the first version and is still a work in progress. This was created for a Flightsim.to Scenery Request. All locations have runways and parking except Lincoln tunnel. This location has problems with start positions so only landings for now. I have included a Little NavMap POI file with all locations. I am still working on Downtown Mahattan Heliport. This area is also problematic.

Hi, basically all of my projects are on hold until we know more about 2024. I think scenery and simobjects should be compatible but will have to wait and see. I'm hoping more details come out soon for developers

Oh, very nice! Asobo did a nice job on the downtown heliport. When I get some time I will remove my pads there I hope we hear something soon about msfs 2024. I just don't know if asobo will add the pier

I just myself noticed that indeed downtown is different lol. yeah hope the addons could just be transferred to fs24

Thank you for this. Been using these nearly every day. One thing that breaks my immersion though is the situation at the KJFK GA terminal. There is equipment parked on both pads. Would you be willing to touch that area up in exchange for a donation? You can share it with the community after!

I found the pads but can't find any info. Do you have names for them? I see one by the Port Authority bldg and one in the cargo area

There should be a pad in the GA terminal by 13R. You'll see the traditional H in the box and then a solid and dashed circle closer to the buildings. That is where the helis stage for passengers on Blade. A friend was able to remove the vehicles for me, but I feel like a little more could be done to give the place a little more life.

65NJ (Helo Kearny Heliport) is another cool one to do in the future. They launch a lot of the NYC-bound tour helicopters.
