Flying over the center of my hometown Dresden, I really wasn´t thrilled by how badly this beatiful city is shaped by default. 
So I tried to improve the scenery by using Google photogrammetry data. This is my very first try, so it there is still some potential.
Nevertheless I think it looks way more realistic and finally pays tribute to the beautiful old city of "Elbflorenz". 
Let me know what you think about it. 

Features:
   -more realistic Google photogrammetry for the old city including the Frauenkirche, Semperoper, Zwinger, "Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion",etc
    (see screenshots)
   -changed ground texture in the citycenter to google data for a cleaner look
   -removed some default trees standing in the way of new buildings
   - NEW 1.1: manually added night lighting (see screenshots)
Known issues:
    -the river seems a bit buggy, so if you´re far away the Google water texture could be visible, even though it shouldn´t
    -colours don´t blend in perfectly in the default scenery; I will try to find better settings in the future
    -because of Dresdens old city being located on some kind of hill, there might be some elevation differences at the boundary of the google maps data

   -just unzip and drag and drop in your community folder
