This is an AI-only aircraft. You won't find it in the aircraft selection menu, and it is non-maneuverable. Also, you are now recommended to use FSFTL for generating AI traffic.
The MD-10 static model for Orbis is looking good, but it just simply couldn't fly at all. However, there is still a method to bring it to the sim, which is making use of this 3D model it as an AI-only aircraft. With this addon, not only you can see these aircraft in the sim, and also the exact model could be spoke out during ATC conversations (DC-10/MD-10/MD-11).
I have no way to know the UV layout of this model as it is encrypted, I can only paint it to be all white, but it looks good enough. From close observations, there is no animation associated with different parts of this model, the wheels don't rotate, the gears don't get retracted after takeoff, and the fan blades of the engines don't rotate. In my conclusion, it is not feasible to make it become an aircraft that you can really fly it to the sky, unless you accept something which could only hand-flown in external views.
How to spot them more easily? Go to Memphis Intl. (KMEM) during daytime, turn real live traffic on, park an aircraft at the north of Runway 9-27, then you can see many of them taxiing or flying around at the same time.

Just replace the model of an already existing plane in your community folder, link up some things, regenerate the layout, and start the game. make sure that the FM is accurate though...

Found it. Is it possible to not use the interior. Looks as heavy load to me as you will only use it as AI traffic

Does it work in conjunction with AIG traffic? I do not see any additional AI trijets flying around unfortunately, checked across the world at various times and did not see any at all. I just put the 3 files in community folder

If there are conflicts between different addons, then it's just your choice to pick the one you like more.

Yes, and it's going well so far, i just have to read the entire manual on aircraft editor. U can fly the plane by using slew mode, then put it like 15ft above ground and it will start flying, after that everything seems to work, it just doesn't have any sound.
When i finish setting up the other CFG files i'll get back to you.
Maybe someday someone will be able to decrypt it and make anims and paintjobs.

I just installed few weeks ago the original asobo addon and thought: "Would be a very nice addon to see this plane as AI traffic with real liveries" I see our minds are conected hehe With the addition that it also flies, very good idea!! Cheers

Yes, no more steps, but it somehow depends on luck to see this plane to appear in the sim
