    Beschreibung

    In 1961 Euravia was born, based in the Luton. This company became Britannia, the worlds largest holiday tour operator of the time - operating from London Gatwick, London Stansted, London Luton, Cardiff, Bristol, East Midlands, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. . In 2000 it became a part of the Thompson group - eventually becoming TUI, before being retired in 2014.

    This livery celebrates what would be the airlines 60th birthday. In itself, it is fan art... a concept that was designed and posted in reddit about 4 years ago. Cool design but, sadly, not realised. However, this lends well to a celebration of the company - with a small 'SmearyGrain' embelishment or two: the anniversary is marked with all of the companies logo's. If you are desperate for a *real* retro design please do request it...


    Thanks to all those who requested this, especially Dave Hudson for the initial request... and also to 'insertcommonusername' for the original design work (yeah - that is his reddit tag... mind you, should I comment on having a silly name??)


    And if you want a livery made - and you can describe it or provide images - head over to the 'Requests' part of flightsim and make the request. Others may join you and - if it is interesting or reall cool, I may pick it up and see what I can do.

    Love this livery and it works in SU8 & WU8.

    I would like to use it with Flybywire A320neo, is it possible to modify it so it will work with the FBW A320?

    Awesome work! Any chance youll be doing the Britannia logo from the 90s? Thats the one I rememebr as a kid the nostalgia is real!

    Unfortunately I have not been able to get this livery to work, will not show up in 'Liveries'. I use MSFS Add Ons and your other liveries are working. Any suggestions?

    Hi - I will take a look at the scripts, which are really the only thing that could prevent it from working. Is it the megapack add on app? Is very strange - it definitely works on its own...

    I am at a loss. I have moved the file directly into the community folder and it will not work. The MSFS Addons Linker i use is here https://flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker

    There must be some quirk with my system. All I can think of is the use of hyphens instead of underscore in the file names.

    Update: The Brit60 livery shows up in content manager. But there is a message under Dependencies 'Your Livery Name - required version Version Number Not installed' is required to run properly.

    It is odd... OK.. leave it with me - it may be that I have left something undone. Have you got any of my other A320 liveries installed successfully?

    I think your last comment has helped me find the problem. An update will be in shortly... looks like I hadn't set one of the many version numbers (and also a bit sloppy with the UI.. which is now sorted). Let me know if it works

    Afraid the update of Brit60 is still not working for me.

    In content manager the livery shows up with an error in Dependencies. 'The minimum game version is 1.7.12 The following content is required for this item to run properly: YOUR LIVERY NAME - required version 1.1' then in red text 'Not installed'.

    OK. Have completed the livery name (though I think this might be a red herring) and now updated the aircraft file to 1.1 (something I have never done before)... it might be that I broke this when fixing the issue. Thanks for bearing with me!! [edit: update in... hope this works!!!]

    I downloaded version 1.1 on Nov 15th and was not able to get it to work. If its not my system I suggest do a side my side comparison of files with one of your working A320 liveries like burgandyx in notepad++ too see what is different.

    OK... last shot before I repackage all the image files into a new folder. If you don't mind - please try once more. I found 2 differences between the new LTU file and this one. and I changed the name to remove the numbers (replaced BRIT60 with BRITANN).
