Here is My EGHN Sandown Airport which is based on the Isle Of Wight in the south of the UK.
Majority of 3d models, bar some default asobo models were created by myself.
Objects and buildings have been modeled based on the real airport as best I can from available images
There is a custom fuel spot should you need to top up your planes tanks.
Lots of time and effort was put into this airport i hope you enjoy.
Donations are welcome but not expected.
Would also appreciate any reviews and ratings.
To add this add-on to your game: Download this Zip file and then direct it to unzip/open into you sims community folder where your add-on's are placed.
Make sure to bookmark this add-on so your alerted if there are updates.

Good stuff but the place is besieged by airport vehicles. They're everywhere!

Thanks for the feedback. I would like to change this ill see if I can get a service file added without effecting all other airports.
Though having just looked it up on msfs sdk support forum it sounds like it's not possible to remove all the random ambience vehicles driving round, without effecting all airports currently, going by what a msfs dev said 2 days ago.
I usually run airport traffic at 15 in the options menu sliders. I believe majority of the traffic is ambient vehicles and not service vehicles, so not sure can do much about it currently.

Hi, is there a chance you have changed the file name. I only found 'dlmoragegaming-eghn-sandown' in my uk scenery folder.

Hi yes. I did mention on a previous build about it i literally just removed that part from description few hours ago maybe i should have left it in.
I changed my creator name. So, you need to make sure to remove the file you mentioned and replace it with the new updated file cos i think it will keep both. let me know if any problems.
1.4.0 build should be craigr-eghn-sandown for the package name.

Understandable buddy hope you like the airport.
Partly my fault, I was just assuming everyone would already be using the version with new package name so removed it. Have re-added that info to the description now.

Thanks for getting back to me annoying SDK glitch ill see if can sort it and put another update out. Looks fine to me but I know what's causing it at least. Have let MSFS devs know about the issue will have to temporarily add a grass texture.

So, I reported the problem with the MSFS devs and they have suggested doing the following.
"To me, it sounds like a cache issue..
Try to delete craigr-eghn-sandown.dat in this folder
C:\Users\and then restart the sim."
Would you mind trying this and letting me know if it fixes it? Much appreciated.

The program is saying I can't take off from water runways so won't load in.
It's in the sim I can land there after taking off from elsewhere and take off again, I just can't start a flight from there. i must admit it is very well crafted

is this happening with my latest version 1.4.0 still?
It showed as fixed for me, shall have to have another look if it's still happening. Sim doesn't seem to like using the transparent texture setting for the runway in SDK which means I may have to cover the more realistic base texture of the runway, which would suck. Never used to be an issue.

Do you mean if you search for this airport it doesn't find it on the map at all not even the default?
Or the game map doesn't show how my airport looks in game if so that is how it is on the sim as it's using the bing maps image.

Hi its missing in the world map and missing in search bar . But if you fly over in the sim it's there ! version "package_version": "1.3.0"

After installing the MSFS Sim update 10 I also got this issue a fix is on its way asap. Though having issue's trying to get it to show as land airport.

Due to sim update 12 had to make some changes mainly due to the new terraforming changes in the SDK. Here is the list of changes: - Removed all previous terraforms. - Had to flatten the airport area, as found it impossible to use the new terraform tool without leaving huge bumps on the terrain. - Had to reposition nearly every object I added to the airport. - Corrected scale of one of the picnic tables.
