Thanks for the scenery! When I lived in NYC, I used to fly in to Sky Acres from time to time. They have a great restaurant on the field next to the silo. I remember having to taxi uphill from the runway to the transient parking areas, a first for me.

Thanks for doing this great scenery. Back in the mid 1980's I visited this airport regularly because I owned one of the original MicroFlight PC based flight simulators built by Ed Wagner. Ed's house and shop were near the Red Barn on the airport property. I spent time at Ed's home every time my system needed upgrades. Your beautiful scenery brings back many wonderful memories of Ed and my visits to that beautiful, scenic area. Thanks for the memories!

Let me know if you have any suggestions for this one since you’re familiar!

Thanks for the reply. The only thing I can remember from back in those days is that Ed Wagner's home was a two story, all white with a dark gray roof. In the scenery there is a small house in the trees and I believe it is a dark red color. I think it is a generic representation of Ed's house. I notice that there is a white, single story building between the barn and the house. That building is similar to Ed's office/workshop that I remember. I'm sure the airport has changes a lot since way back in those days, but your scenery looks very much like what I do remember. For instance, I remember having coffee in a little shop in the red barn and traveling to the building at the far end of the runway to meet the men who were running a maintenance company there. All in all, you have nailed it pretty well! Thanks again.

Thanks for doing this one. Local to me and nice to see the "barn" in the sim. Another NY small airport that needs some love is KVGC Hamilton. It's near Colgate University and gets very busy during graduation weekend - lots of biz jets too. Currently there are no buildings at all in the sim. There are also glider operations there as well.

Thanks! I'll take a look at KVGC after I finish some improvements on this one.
