This was intended as a preview of our fully featured KKIA Premium Product, but due to the man hours it takes to create these plugins, it has been extremely difficult to maintain two different versions to the same standard. We will be maintaining this offering in terms of recompiling to ensure compliance with the most recent sim updates, and from time to time, adding samples of new items available in the premium edition. Most details have been included around the gate 2 area which has the only functional custom jetway along with neghbouring gate 3A. In this freeware edition all other jetways are disabled, and lower quality assets, some without textures included to depict a more accurate skyline, parking spots are also limited in this version.

With version 1.1 we have also added our in-house developed VDGS units for you to try out, along with a couple of ambient audio emitters which can be heard when outside the aircraft using the external or showcase camea, and whilst near by to terminal 1.

KKIA or Kota Kinabalu International Airport is Malaysia’s second busiest airport after KLIA. Situated in East Malaysia on the island of Borneo, KKIA serves the city of Kota Kinabalu as well as the entire west coast of Sabah.

It is a very pleasant area to fly, especially around sunset.
