Upgrade Airport scenery for VRMM Velana International Airport, Male, Hulhule Island, Maldives.
This Upgraded scenery was requested. Based on images & online information.
Still lots of improvements possible on this scenery, but very useable so releasing now for all to enjoy.
Some artistic licence has been used plus a little imagination, so some inaccuracies do exist.
A big task this one, as the ground images are very poor & elevation at sea level. The ground has been elevated correctly. The sea area has been changed to appear as in real life. Ground textures improved & buildings/models added. All runways, taxiways etc replaced & remade. Boats, Yachts & other vessels added, with some being dynamic. Some gates created so services for some are available, jetways move into place, catering, baggage handling, Fuel truck, pushback etc.
Parking Ramp & Gate list will be added here asap.
ATC for both VRMM & VRSB is operating....
NOTE : The Seaplane base has been created but another scenery file is needed to make this work correctly see link.
(VRSB Male Seaplane Base). Remove or overwwrite old version of VRSB. Version 2.0 + required.
Buildings are generic so please dont expect a perfect replica of the real airport, just a reasonable representation.
Nearby islands also have had improvement & some texture changes.
Note - You will need the Free librarys within game to see all objects. Start the sim & Go to marketplace from main screen,
Select full catalogue & click on free. You should see the librarys needed. Vessels Core Library, UK2000 Common Library, EDLP Paderborn-Lippstad Airport. See screenshot image.

Installation - After unzipping, place the complete "sac-airport-vrmm-male" folder
into your MSFS community folder.

Beautiful scenery...Please add some lights to the terminals as at night terminals look all dark! Esle would be perfect.

The airport is very good. Thanks. The ILS localizer does not align with the new runway. It is off to the left on Runway 18 and to the right on Runway 36. Would appreciate if you correct this and remove the large number of static aircraft. Thanks

Thanks for your great work on this mod. Should there be two large ships beached on either side of the runway? I thought it may be a conflict with Global ships traffic that I downloaded from this site however I removed it and the issue still remains.

Had some issues but it worked after a time! Better then everz other scenerz of this Airport!!!! But there are only stairs available :/ *correction there are some but you dont see the airport building there! They are just standing there! There is a bug bug because you only see 1-2 things of this building the building is unvisible! PLEAS FIX THAT!!!! But all the other buildings work fine!

Even with all required libraries installed, no airport building shows up, just a bunch of floating jetways. I've followed all the steps, just like some fellows have too, but still no success.

Not sure if you've noticed but Male is now using the new runway so the scenery is going to need an update. I did a Vatsim flight recently and took off from the taxiway - it was a tad entertaining!

Had the same yesterday. Runways must be reworked. Now new runway is active.

Can confirm, this scenery looks incredible but the ILS is pointing to the taxiway now. Still usable but an update would be awesome.

This airport doesn't work for me. I've downloaded the seaport, all of the other libraries but it just doesn't work at all.
