Today I bring you the 2nd collection of Pilot- and Copilot Avatars (mainly intended for helicopters). It is based on the incredible "F-18 Service Buddies pilot character mod" made by twoseventyinc.
Twoseventyinc was so friendly to support me with my plan to add new Repaints to this Mod.
At this point, first a huge thanks to him, who helped me to adapt the repaints to his mod. Through him, I could learn a lot about texture design! Awesome!
This pack will contain Coastguard and HEMS Uniforms around the world - by time I will add more HEMS and CG Repaints to this pack, so stay tuned.
Version 1.1 contains:
- UK HMCG Bristow Pilot
- UK HMCG Bristow Co-Pilot
- DE ADAC Pilot
- DE ADAC HEMS-TC
Installation:
Please de-install all other instances of "F-18 Service Buddies pilot character mod" as they are not working if more than one is installed, and then simply copy the unzipped file into the community folder.
Note:
As I am doing only helicopter flights atm, please consider, that this mod is only tested with HPG H145. I guess it will work with all Aircraft, but cannot give any guarantee. Also please note, that currently no 3d-model without a breathing mask is available. So we have to stick to it till Asobo will add more avatars.

How do you find and/or remove deinstall "F-18 Service Buddies pilot character mod"? Don't think I ever downloaded it

If did not donloaded it here on fligtsim.to and haven´t installed it, you don´t need to install anything. Just unzip and copy my mod into community folder. BR FVBRDS

No way to remove Oxy Mask? Not so realistic for helicopter pilots....

As I wrote in the description: Currently we have no other Option as to stick with the mask, until ASOBO give us a model for that. No way atm to remove it.

The default pilots don't have the oxygen mask on so why not use those as the base and add the hems modifications to those?

Currently there is no way to remove the ox mask (see also describtion). The only available Avatar with Helmet and swim-vests etc. is this one. I hope Asobo will release a Helicopter-Helmet Version w/o Facemask.

You can’t remove the oxygen mask as the sim has limitations of course. This is as close as five can do. When the model opportunities change then I’m sure five will upgrade it
