is there a way to repaint this over the gunslinger download. I bought an individual t-6 to have one and not the whole pack. then this didn't work so if its as simple as renaming the file it replaces, it would do that but i don't understand how repaints work

I flew the Harvard back in the 60's. Downloaded this one and put in into the community folder but MSFS2020 won't find it. Had no problem with the Hurricane download. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Do you own the Harvard?

Great work, thank you very much! I am very fond of your liveries and I also like this variant very much. My greatest wish would be the livery of the Red Bull T-6 D-FHGK by Walter Eichhorn https://mellmaus-art.jimdofree.com/north-american-harvard-t6/

Thank you for doing this. 46 was the first Harvard I got to fly in when I was a member of CHAA (Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association) back in 1994. I would later experience flight time in 432 and 242. On one occasion, as part of a four-ship formation display over Kitchener, Ontario, my wife was backseat in 46, while I was backseat in 242. Great memories, and now I need to dig out the video of that flight and watch it for the first time in ten years at least!

How is this one modeled vs the real one?

Your work is excellent. Remember that I have not seen the real aircraft for decades, but to my mind it captures it nicely. However, beyond any repainter's control is the fact that Asobo has not truly modeled a Harvard. The big telltale is the exhaust. Harvards (at least here in Canada) had a long exhaust from the engine out to above the right wing, just about level with the pilot's seat. The Texan had a short exhaust. Also, the Mk2 Harvard had additional window frames. Those frames along the top of the canopy extended down the sides. Asobo does not give us that model. And, in the Harvard, the rearmost glass canopy (behind the rear seat) is larger. The only model in the collection that seems to be based on a Harvard is "Gunslinger." It has the larger rear canopy, but it misses all the other window frames (as does the real one they based it on.) It does have an original Mk2 instrument arrangement on the front panel, but it also misses the exhaust. I doubt that Asobo will go to the trouble of creating a Harvard for us, but it would have been nice. Again though, your repaint certainly does the job. Very much appreciated. I wish you well on all your future repaints, and will be adding them all to my collection!

Oh... LOL... I missed that small fact didn't I. Just assumed the repainter was asking for an evaluation of their work.. Glad the info was useful.

Beautiful, One of the main reasons I bought the base pack was for the T-6 great that there are new liveries for it.
Thanks.

I have the AT6A and D yet both won't show the livery. Is there a reason behind this?

It will only work on the base T6 in the Reno expansion

which one is that?

So, we have to buy the whole Reno bundle?
