This is only fix aircraft flaps due to the original version of flap is auto set during flight especially on low speed.
READ INSTRUCTION FIRST (Change on your original file is on your own descretion & make a backup before apply)- Extract this file anywhere on your desktop.
- Copy file to your MFS2020(STEAM VERSION) Official / Steam / asobo-aircraft-fa18e / SimObject / Airplanes / Asobo_FA18E.
- Paste & Replace the original flightmodel. (Make sure backup before replace to avoid any error)This method is applicable for steam version only & for microsoft version as long you can find the original file of FA-18 the method start from asobo-aircraft-fa18e and so on.

Definite improvement. The flaps do need work to FIX the issue that they have, they are supposed to deploy on auto but not to the extent that they are doing in the sim. I'll have a dig through the files to see if I can spot anything as well, but I'm not great at the a/c config files yet. Thank you for the mod.

The flaps are supposed to auto-deploy. The superhornet is fly-by-wire and takes care of that for the pilot. Having trouble understanding what this is supposed to do..

it is own descretion sir, for some user seems dont like the auto flap, some okay with it. so this might help. tq

Change the default "auto" flap setting to completely retracted?

That's fair, but you may not want to call a "fix" something that is not broken and actually simulated correctly, while your solution (while I'm sure some will appreciate it) is not realistic.
