    Beschreibung

    Shaoguan is a city at the north of Guangdong Province, and the airport was a simple airbase initially, with very limited commercial flights in a short period. It is interesting that it has an IATA code but no ICAO code. In 2014, the airport started to be totally rebuilt into a bigger one which could accommodate single aisle jetliners, with complete ground handlings and a modern new terminal with jetways.

    Arbitrary tower and ILS frequencies are filled as there are formal control tower and localizers observed although the actual frequency is unknown.

    • ILS Runway 33: IDXA / 111.0

    The airport is of high quality, but the trees at the runway 33 inlet are a bit tall and need to be trimmed. The ILS localizer is severely skewed to the left.

    great to see many update here , very excellent scenery . BTW could you make ZWRQ or ZWTS scenery in MSFS , these scenery doesn't exist in MSFS , I could supply all the graphic and AIP for you. Thans so much and all in all very good scenery , love it

    It is usual for domestic airports in China because the aeronautical information of Chinese airports are classified as national secrets, except those few international airports which are open to foreign airlines, so it won't be accessible through simbrief for sure. All the navdata about this airport in this addon is just my "design" by studying the landscape and airways nearby. You can do a flightplan to ZGGG instead for estimations on routing and fuel planning.

    Just check that there are errors in the new codes which prevents the addon to be compiled successfully, would you like to download the new version and rate it again?
