    Beschreibung

    Koh Samui airport in the gulf of siam, Thailand. I have flown through there about 50 million times so its a good one to do.

    First things first. Removal of the completely oversized surrounding Ai buildings which should not be any higher than a coconut tree. (samui regulations)

    Big Buddha Model added. An old model that i made a year ago, when i had no clue about vertex counts , demeshing or texturing. Model size reduced from 56 MB to 6 MB. (to be worked on)

    Full airport rework coming with correct stand numbers and taxiways, runway markings and buildings

    Projected Mesh taxiway lines (my very first attempt). The lines are a bit wide (90cm) instead of IRL (45cm). But the wider the better the resolution with less jagged edges

    Gates / terminal updates with clocktower and promenade

    Gates 1,2,3  Domestic Departures

    Gate 4 Domestic Arrivals with baggage carousel

    Gate 5 International Arrivals with baggage carousel

    Gate 6 International departures

    Biome changes to tropical palm tree along runway sides, non palm tress sizes reduced

    Wat Khao Hua Jook hill less trees and temple more visible.

    Blender Physics created pillows which are a bit lumpy at 450kb, but have LOD from further away outside of gate area, 7kb model. The pillows are also duplicated assets

    MakeHuman humans, 230 kb models with LOD furher away 13kb.

    East Apron Parking 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 operational
    Big Buddha PBR textured with Gold, roof tiles and side walls with Metallic RGB workflow
    Forget Taxi ribbons or Ai, it does not understand a single runway with no taxiways at the end of runway 35 or 17. 
    ATC will show a ribbon to turn into the runway too early, when you must taxi to the end of the runway and do a U turn.

    Parking bays are  GA_Ramp Large except for stand 1 and 10,11 (medium= no stairs available)  If i set them to gates no stairs will show for boarding any of them.
    ATC does not seem to understand Parking  and shows no ribbon or parking number, probably due to confusion over a runway with no taxiways at each end.
    Maybe sim update 7,8 or 9+

    Koh Som now has lots of coconut trees.
    East Apron Parking stands 1-6 operational WIP 7-11, West Apron WIP
    Rnav working Runway 35 tested Nakorn Si Thammarat to Koh Samui
    Ground services working stands 1-6
    ATC working as best it can, still need to test taxi to parking ribbon guides still getting confused
    Fuel truck working
    Basic Basic arriv/departure area model, just to get positioning correct in the Blender Project.

    Runway levelled more (forgot to click terraform on last version)

    Alpha, Beta, Charlie, Delta, Echo and Foxtrot Taxiways added

    Runway linked taxiway and one stand.
    Should be working ok with ATC

    All markings handmade

    I'll leave the first version up as well just in case of problems
