This scenery contains modellib.bgl which conflicts as per Asobo's recommendations. See the section here on CTD's being caused by scenery and how to fix it. Could you fix it please? https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/scenery-creators-please-move-or-rename-your-modellib-bgl/307563

Thanks again for another great effort! We are very lucky. If ever you have the patience and/or the time there is another interesting canadian bridge missing: The long Confederation bridge linking New-Brunswick and P.E.I. provinces.

I'm in the middle of doing the Victoria bridge in Montreal which is a complete nightmare :) all that dockland area to be removed and lots of water, isolating just the bridge is proving to be quite a job. (and even once I've finished it may look like shit in game)

I thought about leaving the docks but it would be an FPS killer
(over 2.5 million polygons in the original High level of detail google capture)

and I have to do it 3 times for 3 different LOD models
I did however find out how to remove autogen trees from the original Asobo monstrosity so that's a start :) heres a WIP of that, https://i.imgur.com/lIKO7jT.jpg
just some more water to remove and a bit more tidying up.

I had a look at the confederation bridge but there's no 3d data for it in google maps so that one is a no go

Wow! I appreciate the work I see on the Victoria bridge. It looks absolutely superb. It's a complex bridge. Since The Confederation bridge is nicely modeled in Google Earth I thought it was also availablein Google maps. I am happy you discovered a way of getting rid of the monster trees! Look forward to seeing The Victoria.

I don't know why but none of the capture plugins seem to work with google earth, only maps, I did however find a model of the confederation bridge on googles 3d warehouse (probably the same model as is used in google earth) but I'm not sure about using a model from 3d warehouse and how google would feel about the legalities of that (they don't seem to be bothered about everybody ripping photogrammetry data from google maps but a standalone hand modeled thing would probably be a different matter) a lot of the models in google earth are hand made in Sketchup https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/f96bafaea85df8619ee83ec8df62aaa8/Confederation-Bridge-Pont-De-La-Confederation I would really need to get permission from the person who modeled it

yeah I've looked at that one and the google 3d data is a bit messed up.

I doubt the bridge is bent like that in real life :) it's just a really low quality model (and this is at the highest detail level google can do)

Oh yes I confirm the Orlean Bridge has the same arc than what Google shows. I've passed over in the air, on the road and under many many times and that's how it looks. In fact the creepy look is real too. It's an old bridge and they are discussing for his destruction since few years.

the bottom girders don't line up in real life? I'm not talking about the arc, most bridges have a slight arc,https://i.imgur.com/8ffpWTm.jpg that looks like a model glitch to me, notice how the girders overlap and some of them are hanging out of the bottom of the bridge on the opposite side (none of the photos I looked at online look like that)

Talk about a coincidence! The governement unveiled just today a 3D presentation of the new signature bridge to replace the old Ile d'Orleans bridge for 2027. https://montrealgazette.com/news/quebec/quebec-unveils-design-for-new-ile-dorleans-bridge-but-wont-say-how-much-it-will-cost
