    Beschreibung

    This scenery covers the following landmarks of the city of Dusseldorf in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany:

    1. Hafen buildings which include the Rheinturm and the Landtag building.
    2. Covers the 3 top bridges.
    3. Adds the Merkur Spiel-Arena and Dusseldorf Messe
    4. Full lighting for these landmarks.

     

    Installation Process:

    Copy the folder dusseldorfcity to your Community Packages folder.

     

    Credits:

    Obliviously this scenery has been extracted from Google Maps, hence all 3D credits goes to Google.

    this is for me the most important thing in my community folder because I fly mostly in the area but since the germany world update now I have a mix of merkur spiel arena and esprit arena could you please update the package without the stadium I tried to delete the stadium files but then the fairground area textures is also missing :(

    Could you remove the Espirit/Merkur-Spiel Arena from this pack? The Stadium is now included in the default scenery after WU6.

    It would be best if every object had its own seperate model file/folder.

    Ich komme auch aus der Gegend von Düsseldorf und endlich ist dieser üble graue Balken (=Rheinturm) aus der Originalscenery weg, Danke dafür! Die großen Schiffe auf dem Rhein müssen aus meiner Sicht nicht unbedingt sein da in Relation zu den Brücken etwas groß, aber alleine der Turm wertet die Gegend schon sehr auf.

    So far great scenery, but please change the boat or take it away way too big this is an ocean giant that is not on the rhine. and please optimize something if you can because the fps is pretty much in the basement of the scene, please optimize. fps goes down by 8 to 10 fps !!

    To be honest it's a quick copy and paste job out of Google. There are many buildings with open walls ugly textures, broken edgy models too big ships and alot of ugly google comic trees.
    I would expect that someone would remove them before uploading such work.
    All models have to many vertices

    To be honest if someone offers something for free you do not have the right to complain or expect ANYTHING. If you don't like it, just leave it. What did you do for the community?

    Why are you attacking someone who is providing meaningful criticism? Are only positive comments allowed on this platform?

    He is just saying that this could have been done better, whats wrong with that?

    Factual criticism is absolutely okay. Saying "I would EXPECT that someone would remove them before uploading such work." can't be afforded by someone who can take the work for free. That's simply embarassing. You may WISH or SUGGEST, but he is not his customer or his superior.

    I totally agree. If it is for free there shouldn't be any complaints. Maybe nice and polite requests can be uttered.

    Hi! Great work on Dusseldorf! The city is splendid with your work omarsmak. However, there is one container boat on the Rhin which is waaay to big. Is it possible to update this? Thanks
