This is a graphic-enhancing scenery of "Wakayama City" in the western part of the Kii Peninsula, Japan.
LOD is 15-18 in the whole area and 15-19 only around Marina City.
It is a city that can be reached within minutes from Kansai International Airport.
A city located in the northern part of Wakayama prefecture. It is the prefectural capital of Wakayama Prefecture and is designated as a core city.
Typical sights include "Wakayama Castle," "Wakayama Marina City," and "Porto Europe."
In the Middle Ages, it was called "Saika no Sato" along with a part of Kainan City. [1] During the Edo period, it prospered as a castle town of the Kishu clan under the control of the Kishu Tokugawa family.

和歌山県の北部に位置する都市。和歌山県の県庁所在地で、中核市に指定されている。
代表的な名所として、「和歌山城」「和歌山マリーナシティ」「ポルトヨーロッパ」等があります。
中世には海南市の一部とともに「雑賀の里」と称された[1]。江戸時代には御三家の一つである紀州徳川家が治める紀州藩の城下町として栄え、「若山」とも表記された。
