The Amsterdam Heliport (Dutch: Amsterdam Helihaven) (ICAO: EHHA) is a small modern heliport located in the north west of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in a harbour area known as the Westpoort. It provides parking space outside for four helicopters and hangar space for another three. The heliport was opened in 2005, aiming mainly at VIP transport and airwork.

In addition to that, it's the main fuel station for the Dutch Air Ambulance (Traumahelikopter) at this moment, and in the future will be the new base for the Dutch Air Ambulance (Traumahelikopter) moving from the UMC (https://zuidas.nl/en/blog/2021/12/24/air-ambulance-moves-to-amsterdam-heliport/)

Goal of this scenery

the Netherlands has pretty much no working heliports in MSFS 2020 by default and spawning your helicopter at a gate or the runway at EHAM (Schiphol) feels...weird. After flying over Amsterdam I discovered this AI generated non-functional non-usable heliport and decided to make it functional and actually usable as a heliport. You can now even spawn at it with your helicopter of choice!

I also use this as a pet project to start and learn Blender to try and create fancy 3D models. And of course make mods for one of my favorite games! 

Whats in the latest release:

Note when upgrading from v0.1.0 the folder name changed since the ICAO was incorrect, delete the old folder. Futures releases will use the new folder name.

I'm sure a daredevil can fly a Airbus A320 right into this Heliport... but I do recommend you actually use a helicopter 😁 such as the wonderful Airbus h135 helicopter, see also the dependencies tab. When you download the H135 Helicopter I also really recommend the Dutch Air Ambulance livery from https://flightsim.to/file/9832/ph-umc-dutch-air-ambulance-mobiel-medisch-team-8k-h-135
