This P-3 series is an FSX legacy version.
The VC reads the default B747. You may disagree with this technique, but only download it if you can tolerate it.
There are some changes to the model for MSFS2020, so it doesn't make sense to use it with FSX or P3Dv4.

What you can and cannot do.
Gimmicks made with FSX and P3Dv4 cannot be used.
The engine cannot be restarted or cold started.
You can stop the engine individually, but you cannot feathering. (The propeller pitch can be moved depending on the setting.)
Autopilot and autothrottle conform to B747.
For the time being, it is not a package, but each is released independently.
Adrian's P-3C Orion Sounds are included in each P-3. These are with his permission.

This does not work with sim update 5 it seems. At least the cockpit is f*** up visually so an update seems to be needed...

Why am i the only one confused with the install instructions?? There are multiple items / folders in the "new effects" folder and i have no such directory in my appdata/local location. The following instructions confuse the crap out of me:
"Don't forget to add to layout.json when applying another sound files.
Effects files
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore\fs-base-effects-legacy\effects
Don't forget to add to layout.json."

The new effects do not play nice with the game. It totally saturates the dc-6 light settings with light.

Love this aircraft and looking forward to future updates and would you look at that a CP-140 flew our home here in ATL Georgia @fl270 .It was really loud and sound totally different than the one in the sim.

The plane need more work, 3D model textures, flight models, the cabin it's in other place, and a lot minor things.

hey i love it!!! cant wait for our German P3 :D just one question, maybe i missed out something. On my Cockpit, the FMC doesnt work. On you Screenshot it seems to work?

I am a little confused, because the description of this model seems to indicate that there are other liveries (textures) included with this, i.e. US NAVY. But they are not available. Are they planned? Thanks.

One of the best FSX conversations I had come through. Maybe it would be rally possible to add the Cockpit from the DC 6. I never done that so I have no idea if it makes any sense.

wow!!! I just did a hurricane flight and I was looking for something close to the real plane use to fly in hurricanes yesterday but I could find any. I used the c17 instead and now i open this page again and boom. this it is. I'm going to download it and maybe redo the live stream flight. Look up Legend88 Gaming on Facebook gaming for a review on it. Thanks again and ill post back after I fly it.

I used the mod and then uninstalled it. The issue now is that the logbook every time I finish a flight only shows the flight time was 36 seconds long. I uninstalled and deleted every simfile but I'm still having the issue. It's been a month. Does anybody know how to fix it?
It's messing up my logbook and hours.
