This TAA livery was current in the 1950s and into the 1960s as one of two major domestic airlines in Australia. The airline was later absorbed into the Qantas Group, and no longer flies in these or any other colours.
Sadly, PMDG did not release any airline liveries from down under with this magnificent aircraft, so I figured someone needed to rectify that! Along with other painters doing Pacific rim airlines, I have done just that, and this livery has now been joined by one each of Ansett and TEAL liveries.
The first two images in the collection here show the updated registration numbers and some of the ground equipment. Enjoy!
Simply unzip the ptp file from this zip file, and install with the PMDG Operations Centre as is usual with PMDG products!

Hi Captain, I'm not sure what you want fixed, so perhaps you could be more specific. However one very important caveat is that any alterations will be on a time and priority basis. I have a critically ill grand daughter, a fraught and over-worked daughter, and a small business to run, so fixing a freebie livery I did more than a year ago has to be lower on the priority list - sorry! If I get time to look at it I will, but cannot promise anything. Cheers!

Is your update made to match the new version (2.0.28)
P.S. I have just checked and the livery screen comes up Black now, so I'm guessing you will have to modify your mod for the new version.

My repaints have all been working fine with that version of the DC-6, and I'm downloading the 2.0.32 as I write. I will check it out with this version if I have any blank livery screens, but if you reinstall from your download file it should work.

I just updated my DC-6 from the Ops Centre to the newest 2.0.32 version, and found exactly the same thing happened to me. What the Operations Centre has done is retain all the aircraft.cfg entries for installed liveries, but it has not updated the .json file entries.
QUICK FIX: Reinstalling just one of your add-on repaints from a ptp file will restore all those .json entries for you, as the Ops Centre reads all your liveries and updates the .json file automatically.

Anything is possible!! I've been very busy doing custom requests for the DC-6 and had only planned on these three freebies with fictional registration because while the liveries are very close to the real thing, they're not as perfect as I would like when doing a real-world paint. Send me a direct message if you would like that done and I will see when I have some time to look at it!
