    Beschreibung

    Chester County G.O. Carlson Airport is a public-use airport located approximately 50 miles west of Philadelphia. 

    Chester County's one runway 29-11 is 5,400 X 100ft (1646 X 30m).

     

    The former production site of Sikorsky Helicopters, Chester County Airport, is now home to several corporate hangars, the FBO Signature Flight Support, and a flight school. 

    Famously, the youtube channel Rebuild Rescue is also based at the airport. 

     

     

    Also modeled across the street is the former Keystone Heliplex

    The revamp is here!

    Lots and lots of little things were done + a buttload of terraforming.

    A note on the dependencies: Nothing is required. Should be using mostly stock assets. .to doesn't want to let me delete the required dependency.

    If anyone is curious this does work in MSFS 2024, however, the static aircraft placed (Signature's hangar, Jet ramp number 1 and 2 positions, etc..) do not show up in game and there a some small areas where grass clips through the taxiway. Also I do not recommend using this for career mode until it is updated as the hold short positions do not match up with the correct locations and you could potentially be penalized on scoring.

    everything looks great, but the airport name printed on the taxiway doesn't show for me. Instead i see a white and grey patterned rectangle. Any thoughts?

    Recently noticed when parking by the flight school on the ramp, there is elevated terrain about 10 feet tall that boxes you in and it seems like you are sunk into the ground. Will try to reinstall and see if it is visible when you choose a different ramp spot.

    Verified, after a reinstall terrain still has some strange square dips and abrupt edges, not sure how to upload photos to help.

    Hi,
    I have "some" problems with big steps on parkings / taxiways and also all the smal GA hangars very low in altitude compared to the rest of the airport.

    In real life there is about a 50 foot difference between the t-hangars and the end of runway 29

    I am having an issue with several of the buildings being sunk into the ground. Is this a scenery load order issue? Uploaded a picture to the user gallery.

    It appears that the conflict was the BlackSquare taxiways product. Removing that has removed the craters around the hangars. I still don't see the airport name on the taxiway.

    i Can’t see the compass sign or heli pad S sign or the text on the taxiway, anyone else have the same problem?

    KMQS - Chester County G.O. Carlson Airport

    Chester County G. O. Carlson Airport is a public airport two miles west of Coatesville, in Chester County, Pennsylvania. It is owned by the Chester County Area Airport Authority. The airport opened May 1, 1928 as Coatesville Airport and was owned and operated by the City of Coatesville. In 1959 Chester County purchased the airport and took over operations. At this time, the Chester County Area Airport Authority was formed and the airport was renamed to Chester County Airport. In 1962 the airport was renamed in honor of the first Authority chairman, G. O. Carlson.
