OCTOBER 2026 UPDATE:
Thank you for your recent support for the 73X project. I will soon be releasing a big update that will update the aircraft native to FS2020.
Anticipated changelog:
- Throttles should now move in the cockpit.
- FULL MSFS 2024 compatibility
- Full 4K textures
- Gloss restored, but in the correct places and the correct amount.
- Cockpit in the correct spot now, accurate to where a 737 cockpit would be. (Previously, the cockpit was located much further forward and higher up because it was where a 747 cockpit would be)
- Fix aircraft dropping on spawning and having to turn off crash damage.
I am also happy to announce that I will be working on an alternate version that will include a real 737 cockpit for a more authentic 737 experience. It will be the one from FSX, so functionality will be limited, but the cockpit will work exactly as intended (including all clickable buttons and screens). This was previously not done because it also needs to be converted to be native to FS2020 for screens and buttons to work. I'm not sure exactly how i'll approach the structure of the project, but once this version is released, I will likely continue maintaining the 747 cockpit version, since that will likely have better functionality when it comes to systems.
If you have any questions or comments, please join the Discord, and I'll answer them as best I can. Any previews will also go there.
BLAKE
If you have any problems, please check both versions before leaving a negative review.
Please turn off crash damage before loading in because otherwise, it will say you crashed after clicking ready to fly, or sometime else in the flight.
Also, please do not use custom views/hat switch views (at least for now) because they may crash the sim.
Installation Instructions:
Extract the 73x release version zip and drag the boeing737_800_V7.0 folder into the community folder of MSFS (This folder will be INSIDE the 73X_Stable or 73X_Experimental )
Update Instructions:
Delete any old installations of the 73X (and the CVT folders), extract the release version zip, and drag the boeing737_800_V7.0 folder into the community folder of MSFS.
B73X Development Team:
FlightMan100 (Developer & Project Founder)
Contributions:
- Flybe (Former Co-Developer, 73X Branding and Livery, Flight Model Improvements)
- Crazy88 for black cockpit skin
- tb110188 for support on various items since the aircraft has launched. Namely, he has helped with putting 737 screens in the cockpit.
Unfortunately, since Sim Update 5, the gloss has not worked on legacy planes, and so, sadly, there will be no gloss on the 73X because it is a legacy plane.
To be used on the Legacy Flight Model for the Stable Version and the Modern Flight Model for the Experimental Version.
Experimental is best if you want to use this plane on modern and avoid speed bugs.
Versions:
Stable (Main File): Has Old Flight Model
Experimental: Has a new flight model, which will be developed over time, and when we feel like it's done, we will move it up to the stable version.
This MOD is NOT Realistic and is a Work In Progress.
Has Boeing 747 PFD and MFD, and a 737 EICAS
This add-on is NOT Compatible with the Salty Simulations 747 mod.

- Throttles 3 and 4 in the cockpit have been removed. You should now only see 1&2! - Re-Addition of 73X Experimental Version. As a reminder, the Experimental Version runs off of the Modern flight model in MSFS Settings and avoids speed bugs (Sudden jump in speed to 500+ for no reason), but has not been tested as much as Stable. The stable version utilizes Legacy Flight model which utilizes less realistic flight dynamics and is subject to speed bugs. The Experimental Version is the recommended version to use.

1. plane gets spawned in the air and falls down
2.the autopilot doesnt seem to work atleast the three main buttons
3. there seems to be a bug with the landing gear that causes the game to send me a crash report even if the plane itself was perfectly fine
but still the plane is nice
and i wanna ask where i could find more liveries for the plane ?
