EFPN - Punkaharju

Location: Punkaharju, Eastern Finland

Punkaharju is a small private GA airport in the heart of lake Saimaa in the small town of Punkaharju located 30 km from Savonlinna city. The view is stunning around that area. Airport has GA, ultralight and glider activity. Theres no lights, no fuel and a small apron. Runway is gravel.

I've only used vanilla objects as I'm not familiar with 3d modeling. I've edited elevation, drawn roads and handmade all treelines around the airport to make trees smaller and more detailed. I tried to make it as realistic as possible without custom 3d models. Theres still work to do though, it will be updated in the next patch.

To install simply copy the folder iikke-airport-efpn-punkaharju to your Community folder.

Known issues:

- cannot get rid of powerlines.. but at least they have been added to the game. They are huge though
- runway and nearby field needs more detail
- parking orientation is not ideal for parking 1. I plan to fix it later.
- small dent in the parkin 1 at apron. Its kinda like that from the pictures but is a bit impractical
- shorelines are still a bit messy.. wip.
