Uncle Bobs farm (PZ21) Jamaica

Scenery updated to reduce the grass and a small smoke effects library has been added to the download. Just drop the main scenery and the library into your community folder. If you don't want the smoke then just remove the library folder.

Tucked away in the center of Jamaica this small airstrip is the honorary home of the 4/20 club.
Run by a local called Uncle Bob the strip welcomes all careful pilots and arrangements can be made to leave your plane at Bob's and a taxi will take you home should you enjoy too much of the local herbal remedies.
NOTAM:
If you wish to visit Uncle Bobs farm prior arrangements should be made.
Under no circumstances should the 'inviting' airstrip to the right of the windsock on the 17 approach be used. Only use the track to the left of the windsock for landing and roll out right to the end to join the party.
The visible airstrip is reserved for people Uncle Bob doesn't like !

v1.0 1st release
v2.0 major update to all areas of the scenery.
v2.1 minor corrections (Which very few people would see lol)
v2.2 Significant update to remove the LivingWorld.config I setup to remove the ground services at the strip BUT it was a global effect not just a local effect, my apologies for any inconvenience caused. On the plus side it gave me time to re-order some munchies for Uncle bobs shack so people won't get hungry for a while
v2.3 scenery updated to remove a bug caused by the SU5 update
v2.4 I hired some sheep to cut the grass but they were too tasty so not much grass was removed. A small smoke effects library is now included if you wish to use it
v2.5 minor update to scenery and the small smoke effects library has an update

I really like this scenery, but when i grab my potato chips and taxi from Pegasus to Rooster, i always hit an invisible barrier, both with Kodiak and DHC-Beaver. With smaller Airplanes like Kitfox or VL-3, it seems to work, but i picked up some people to party with and i wanted to bring them along

I only gave the scenery 4 stars, because the snowman, and the picnic table, with the 3 people, did not show up, on the my video. But super creative idea and for what scenery I did see, fantastic.

You didn't have the required libraries installed so they wouldn't show up. Not really my fault if you don't install them. Kev

The Snowman is in the BeeKay animals pack, a couple of the animated people are also in Beekay packs.
Some of the people are in Dave's 3D people pack and the Picnic table is embedded in the scenery pack.
Check you installed them correctly because clearly you haven't. If I'm wrong I'm happy to say I am, are you?

Amazing work! I have no idea how only saw recently via Av Angels video as I searched many of the keywords that this has such as 4/20 D:
Either way, I love the vibe of Bob's Farm. I actually have been to some similar places in my life, minus the airstrips lol, and it took me right back. Quite a challenging approach too which makes fun, especially when remember late which runway is safe to use!
Overall this is the brilliant quality usually shown from Kev. My only grips are the plants to the left of the hut directly following on from the runways are quite hidden by trees while the others are in the open so that just seems very odd to me, as does the snowman, which when look at ruins ALL immersion and I noticed that it did cause me to lose a good few FPS on my system. Which isn't the best but I run a stable 30 on High and I had quite a few stutters on take off.

If only the snowman looked odd I suspect you probably didn't have all the libraries I used lol. The place is very weird and very heavy on graphics but I can fly into it in 4k ultra at around 40fps :)

I do have them all I made sure before even loaded. To me weird isn't immersion breaking. Other stuff I can kinda get and see, that I just don't and it just looks so off. I get personal but still.
I am sure others haven't got FPS issues, but I know others with worse systems than me will appreciate the heads up that this will make system go brrr
