Welcome to the Flying B Ranch!
The ranch is located on the Middle Fork Salmon River in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, Idaho.
Beside a lodge and some cabins, which can accommodate up to 40 guests,
it also has a private 2100 foot grass airstrip to cater for any pilots flying in the Idaho backcountry.
Its elevation of 3600 feet and the steep terrain on all sides of the airstrip, makes this a challenging airstrip to fly into and out of.
Since it's a private strip, you'll need permission prior to landing. In addition, backcountry and mountain flying experience is a must.
All operations are at your own risk.
Pilots land and take-off both upstream and downstream, so announce your intentions on the multicom frequency 122.9,
which also is often monitored by ranch personal.
However, recommended landing and take-off is downstream due to terrain avoidance and a safer go-around.
Take care of ground operations while landing downstream, the parking area is very close to the runway threshold.
Also be cautious of Bernard USFS Airstrip U54 traffic located less than a mile north of the ranch.
Do not land on the grass area next to the actual runway. This area is not well maintained and has several obstacles.

Happy Flying!
Notes:
This is the second airstrip, which uses a lot of custom objects and even my first buildings.
Since I'm still very new to creating custom objects, it took me quite some time and may not be perfect, but I still hope you like it.
I tried to re-create the landing strip based on photographs and video material I found, however, what I found was very limited, so I made my best to re-create it.
Please do not share, copy, re-distribute etc. the objects I've created.
If you really want, ask for permission first please.
Support your freeware content creators!
If you like the airport, consider giving a small donation (even one dollar/euro helps)
Any donations will be used for paying for more textures, PBR materials and storage space to continue creating sceneries for you!
It's never expected, but always highly welcome!

Wookie, nice to see your scenery featured on Fabio's Idaho bush flying group flight this week. Flying B looked great with a mob of bush planes. I liked that Fabio showed off a bunch of the details that you included in the scenery.

Here, we get the feeling of landing in a real place because there's just enough of what you'd expect to see on approach and landing, but no more. Like the boulders in the rapids just downstream and the scattered driftwood logs on the island just above them. They're noticeable for the real life expectation of them being there, but subtle enough in their sparseness to not overwhelm the fabric of the natural landscape. It shows you have a great sense of the real-life location and the wilderness atmosphere surrounding it.
To me, it exemplifies the phrase "...sometimes less is more." That you're now rendering objects that aren't otherwise available in either the Asobo or existing 3rd party libraries makes it all the better. The new objects at your enhancement of the Weatherby Airstrip (52U) are a good example.
Keep up the good work. I'm always pleased and thrilled to see one your sceneries pop up in the daily releases. Thanks!
