Araracuara Airport, Colombia for MSFS

Araracuara Airport (IATA: ACR, ICAO: SKAC) is an airport serving Araracuara, in the Caquetá Department of Colombia. Araracuara was the site of a former penal colony for Colombia's worst and most dangerous criminals. The town and airport are on the north bank of the Caquetá River, an eventual tributary of the Amazon River.

This is a simple piece for those willing to venture into unknown places; this time into a forgotten place right in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. It serves as an army base.

The scenery includes: 

- the stunning river canyon that is prominent on final approach to the airport (hand made with standard MSFS objects available from  the sim library). 
- a DC-3 Wreck repressenting a real Curtiss that went down at the airport decades ago (Thanks to AndrasKis for making it available. Not my modelling work, I just imported it to the scenery because it fits the real life equivalent well - under CC Attribution license).
- A few perimeter fences and objects to try and ressemble the real Airport.

I may update the airport as time goes one with more buildings (it`s a military base, so adding hangars and military assets makes sense)
