The JS3 is a high-performance racing glider capable of world-championship winning performance.
This freeware glider has been built from the ground up for MSFS2024 - I hope you agree the modelling by CalVR is to an exceptional standard.
The package is currently for the 18m variant of the JS3. A 15m variant has been included in the development from the beginning and we'll extend this package to include both variants shortly.
Highly detailed interior and exterior models with much attention paid to all important animations, it is worth looking closely at details such as the cockpit levers, spoilers, main and tail retractable gears, and huge detail on the panel itself (see pictures).
Accurate flight model - this glider is great for cross-country flights having an excellent best glide of 56:1. The high-speed (140 knots) glide performance of 27:1 is also very good.
Fully-functioning LX competition panel, i.e. computer nav and vario. This code is an evolution of the tried-and-tested instruments in prior sim racing gliders with continued enhancements.
Jonker JS3-18 for MSFS2024 by CalVR and B21
The Jonker JS3-18 is a high-performance racing glider add-on for MSFS2024, featuring a meticulously detailed 18-meter model. It includes a highly accurate flight model with competitive glide ratios suited for cross-country flying. The cockpit boasts a fully-functional LX competition panel and attention to realistic animations and controls. Future updates will expand the package to include both 18m and 15m variants.
