AnyAirline - Passenger IFE, AI Cabin Crew & Airline Immersion - Image 1

    Beschreibung

AnyAirline turns the flight you are flying into a flight your passengers are on. Boarding calls at the gate, the captain's welcome, the safety briefing, the meal service, the descent call, the goodbye on the stand. All of it written for this flight: your airline, your aircraft, your route, the time of day. Spoken by a neural voice model that runs on your own machine.

Start it, tell it the flight, fly. That is the whole setup.

Tell it the flight, it fills in the rest

Dispatch happens inside the app. Type a SimBrief username and it pulls your latest OFP: route, aircraft, airline, flight number, scheduled times. Or type the flight in by hand if you are not using SimBrief.

    • Stand and gate. Where the airport is mapped, a stand is picked for you from real airport data. Your aircraft has to physically fit it (wingspan against the stand class), your airline's own stands are preferred, and a domestic, Schengen or non-Schengen departure lands in the right pier. Your own gate always wins if you set one.
    • A passenger manifest. Names and seats on your aircraft's actual cabin layout. The announcements that talk about passengers talk about those passengers.
    • Boarding by groups. Intro, priority, group calls, remaining passengers, last call, paced against the time you actually have at the gate rather than a fixed script.
    • Everything that plays around the announcements. Boarding music, terminal chimes, the safety video.
    • There are no sound packs. Nothing to download, no Announcements\ folder to build, no files to rename, no Discord to join to hunt for a pack that covers your airline. Fly LOT from Warsaw to Split tonight and you get a LOT crew, going to Split, tonight. Fly LOT to Gdansk next week and it is a different flight, not the same recording with a different city in it.

    Talk to your cabin crew

This is the part people do not expect. Bind a joystick button or a key, hold it, and say the call the way you would say it:

    • "Cabin crew, arm doors and cross check."
    • "Cabin crew, seats for takeoff."
    • "Cabin crew, start the service."
    • "Boarding completed."
    • "Cabin crew, seats for landing."

They answer you. "Doors armed and cross-checked, cabin is secured for departure, thank you captain." Then they go and do it. The service starts because you asked for it. Boarding starts because you said the cabin was ready.

And if you never say it, it never happens. There is no timer quietly covering for you. Speech recognition runs locally on your PC, so nothing you say leaves your machine.

    Talk to the ground crew

Same button, different frequency. "Flight deck to ground."

Ask for refuelling, catering, boarding, deboarding, the lavatory service, potable water, cleaning, ground power, the jetway, the stairs, de-icing, or a pushback with a direction. On MSFS this drives GSX Pro for real: the trucks turn up because you asked for them over the radio, not because you clicked through a menu.

Lost track of what is going on out there? "Ground, what is the current state?" and they tell you what is running, what is still coming and what is finished. Long turnaround, nothing to do? Ask them for a joke. They have some.

GSX can also park you on the arrival stand your own dispatch assigned, set on the taxi in. On X-Plane the same voice drives BetterPushback and Simple Ground Services.

An IFE map your passengers would actually watch

Open the map in a browser, on the PC, on a phone, on a tablet propped against the throttle quadrant.

It shows your aeroplane: a 3D model of your actual type, painted in your actual airline's livery. Pick an Emirates 777 and you get an Emirates 777; pick a Widerøe Dash 8 and you get a Widerøe Dash 8. Over 500 types are covered, and if you fly something exotic the map finds the closest airframe rather than sticking a generic dot on the ocean.

    • Moving map and a 3D globe view, with your filed route drawn from the flight plan rather than a straight line to the destination.
    • City and airport names in the language being spoken, in their own script. Dubai is دبي, not a transliteration of the English name.
    • An entertainment hub: YouTube and Twitch on the big screen, onboard radio, and a set of built-in games for the long ocean crossings.
    • On X-Plane it renders onto the seatback screens in the cabin itself, so the map is where it belongs.

It follows the aeroplane, not a stopwatch

The app reads your aircraft several times a second and works out which phase you are actually in: gate, pushback, taxi, takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, approach, landing, deboarding. Announcements are tied to those, not to a countdown.

So a forty-minute taxi at Heathrow, an early descent, a departure held at the gate — the cabin moves with you. Start the app halfway through a flight already at cruise and it works out where you are instead of replaying the departure.

Nothing is locked, either. Every announcement can be fired by hand, and you can override the phase whenever you disagree with it.

    Buttons, if you prefer buttons

There is a Stream Deck plugin if you would rather fire an announcement, the boarding music or a cabin action from a physical key than alt-tab out of the cockpit. It talks to the connector on your own machine, so it works as soon as you switch it on.

The music and the videos come from other pilots

The announcements are generated. Everything that plays around them is real recordings, and they come from our own workshop: boarding and deboarding music, safety videos, terminal chimes, uploaded by the people who fly this thing and shared with everyone else.

You never go and get any of it. Dispatch the flight and the connector works out what that flight needs and pulls it down in the background, ready before you push back. A SimBrief username is genuinely the only thing you have to type.

    Getting started

    1. Download, unzip anywhere, run AnyAirlineConnector.exe.
    2. Start MSFS. The connector finds it on its own; there is nothing to install into the simulator.
    3. Open Dispatch, enter your SimBrief username or type the flight in, hit dispatch.
    4. Fly. If you want to speak to the crew yourself, open Voice crew and bind a push-to-talk button first.

    Good to know

    • MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 through SimConnect, with nothing to install into the sim. X-Plane 11/12 and P3D/FSX work too.
    • It updates itself.
    • Study-level aircraft keep the seatbelt sign in their own variables. To read it on MSFS the connector uses the MobiFlight WASM module, and it can install that for you. Without it the announcements simply fall back to the schedule.
    • An internet connection is needed. The announcement text is written for your specific flight on our side; the voice is generated locally on your PC. Lose the connection mid-flight and everything already prepared keeps playing.
    • The executable is not code-signed yet, so a few antivirus engines flag it heuristically. Source of the false positive is the Python packaging, nothing else.
    • Not affiliated with Microsoft, Navigraph/SimBrief, FSDreamTeam/GSX, MobiFlight, or any airline. Airline names are used to describe the flight you chose to fly.

    Documentation and help

Full guides live at anyairline.app/docs: how the connector decides when to speak, every call you can make by voice, dispatching, the IFE and languages. Questions, bug reports and feature requests are welcome on our Discord.

Everything described above works from the moment you unzip it, without an account. Making a one is only worth it if you want the cabin to speak something other than English, or to bring your own audio to the flight.

Hello guys, it is all false positive because the file isn't signed (which would cost around 300 EUR). I wouldn't risk anything like this after years of development for Chudoba Design :) You can check it with virus total. I am also reporting it to Microsoft Defender so they can put it on their list :)

Hi Filip! I'm still using your tool for every flight and it's great. But I must admit that I'm curious about your cabin rating system. For some flights, even though everything worked flawlessly, the flight was smooth and on time, I still get a bad rating. Could you maybe quickly point out the most important factors that influence the rating? That would be nice, thanks :)

Thanks for fixing the PMDG seatbelt switch recognition!
Just did the first cargo flight with AnyAirline and preflight was very quiet. Some cargo-like loading sounds would be awesome :)
    Have a great weekend

Not sure if anyone else is still flying this plane, but in the Aerosoft CRJ v2 the seatbelt switch doesn't work properly (recognized as "On" when toggled off via "Auto" mode above 10,000 ft).
Only if you have time ;)

Just giving some more feedback if you don't mind:
    - The seatbelt switch doesn't get recognised in the PMDG 737 and iFly 737 MAX. I think it used to work in the PMDG before the last updates.
    - Sometimes in the IFE map, the data field values go crazy and show very long, strange values.
    Cheers

EDIT: Also in the PMDG 777, the seatbelt switch stays unrecognized.

New features: • Crew and ground crew voices can go to your headset while the announcements stay on your speakers (Voice crew → Output). • The GSX ground crew talks you through the pushback step by step: tug connected, bypass pin, nose gear up, release brakes, push, "pushback complete, facing south-west", engine start, tug disconnected. • "Two good starts" confirms the engine start in GSX for you, and ground stays on the headset for the whole pushback. • A boarding started by your aircraft (e.g. the Fenix EFB) or the GSX menu is announced when it starts and ends, with the passenger count. • The flight header shows your ATC callsign. Bug fixes: • Dispatch: "Assign stand" finds the stand and gate, and a refused dispatch tells you why instead of "Dispatch failed". • Announcements, music and crew voices no longer go silent when Windows refuses an audio device, including virtual cables such as VB-Audio. • GSX: the jetway, stairs and ground power are switched once and announced once, and when GSX does not answer the connector says why. • Your SimBrief ID is remembered. • With announcements timed by GSX, the final boarding call also follows your departure time. • The connector could crash when you opened the printer list in Dispatch, and the Phase field on the Connections page was empty. • Bug reports carry the log of the whole flight. On the website: • Your flight debrief shows the landing rate. • Settings → Arrival prep: "Ignore the seatbelt sign", for aircraft whose sign is read wrong. • Safety videos play on the IFE by default, YouTube on the IFE movie screen plays again, and the IFE map no longer shows your previous flight. • Pick the captain's announcement languages for each flight. • Deleting your account signs out every connector and removes your payment details.
