Registration ZK-MVR is an ATR 72-600, formally an ATR 72-212A, manufacturer serial number 1487. It first flew in 2018 under the ATR test registration F-WWEM and entered the New Zealand register on 13 April 2018, initially with Mount Cook Airline for Air New Zealand Link regional operations. After Mount Cook Airline was wound up in December 2019, the aircraft transferred to Air New Zealand Limited. ZK-MVR remains active in service with Air New Zealand.
