    CRJ 700 Performance improvement mod - Image 1

    Beschreibung

    This file turns off some screens in the CRJ 700-cockpit:

    • - both skycams
    • - first officers main screens
    • - first officers clock/timer
    • - first officers radio frequency tuner

    this saves a bunch of fps!

    How to install:

    • 1. go to: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020\[Your Package File]\Official\OneStore\aerosoft-crj\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft_CRJ_700\panel (this file may be in the community folder, instead of the official folder if you downloaded the crj directly from aerosoft.)
    • 2. make a backup of the original panel.cfg file
    • 3. replace the original file with the new one
    • 4. have fun

    I'm pretty sure this may also work with the 550, but I don't fly it and therefore didn't bother about it.

    Had a lot of trouble with the handling of this aircraft, it looks great but flies poorly for me, I was hoping that this was a fix for the performance. Pitch trim was difficult, I had to bale out of this one as it was too difficult. I will try again, perhaps it was some glitch on my PC or maybe I was the glitch !

    Better leave the co-pilot radio ON.
    That way you can use the NAV2 and that does not cost FPS as i tested.

    Easily adaptable in the panel.cfg

    This is a good workaround. However i think you sould give credit to the person who first found this fix on the aerosoft forums last week. It works fine with the 550, all this fix is doing is disabling certain displays and the displays are idendical in the 550.

    i only see a 4fps increase so i guess it helps but not much as i had hoped but any improvement better than nothing so well done to the author of this

    Thanks. Seems to have different impacts for different systems. I personally experienced a pretty big improvement, but looks like it may vary a lot.
