    riaanels have you managed to get notificaion sounds working on iPhone? I have not and I don't get an aural notification on the MSFS computer either. (I could not reply to your post directly for some reason sorry)

    Hi, this is not really caused by 123flightArrival itself. The app only sends the notification to ntfy.

    If the notification arrives silently on iPhone, it is usually related to iOS or ntfy settings, for example:

    * iPhone Silent Mode enabled
    * Focus Mode / Do Not Disturb active
    * Notification sounds disabled for ntfy
    * Notification priority settings inside ntfy
    * Low notification volume
    * Background notification restrictions from iOS

    The app cannot directly control Apple’s notification sound behavior.

    Also make sure the ntfy app itself is installed and allowed to play sounds in iOS notification settings.

    Hi. Great idea but I cannot get any sound out of either the Windows app or the iOS ntfy app. I’ve checked app notifications and it all seems to setup correctly. I see no sound settings at all in the Windows app ver 2.5. I do get the text notification but unless I specifically look at the app I don’t even know it arrived. What am I missing?

    The author wrote this in a post below regarding sounds: "App Notification Settings: Go to your phone's settings under "Apps" or "Notifications," find our app, and ensure that under "Notification Categories," the sound is enabled for the relevant events.", I don't even see any sound settings or "relevant events" listed on my iPhone 17. What am I missing?

    I have. Tried running it as administrator, even tried re-downloading and stopping all my TSR background processes. No luck. I won't rate the program since I didn't even get to load it, but this hasn't been an encouraging experience.

    Oh, and tried rebooting as well.

    Hi there. Great app. Please make the app to make your phone alert you with sound. App only notifys me via notification and no sound. I dont look at my phone the whole time and real sound notification would be nice. Can I use this app for short flights as well?

    To address your question about the notifications directly: The fact that the app isn't making a sound for you is not due to the app itself, but rather the systemwide settings on your smartphone.

    The app sends the signal for the notification to your operating system (Android or iOS), but your phone decides based on your personal configuration whether or not a sound is played.

    How to fix the issue:
    Please check the following settings on your phone:

    App Notification Settings: Go to your phone's settings under "Apps" or "Notifications," find our app, and ensure that under "Notification Categories," the sound is enabled for the relevant events.

    Do Not Disturb / Focus Mode: Check if your phone is in "Do Not Disturb" or a "Focus" mode that suppresses notification sounds.

    Volume: Ensure that the volume for "Notifications" (not just for media or calls) is turned up in your general sound settings.

    Mute Switch: If you are using an iPhone, check if the physical mute switch on the side of the device is activated.
