What does it actually cost to own that aircraft?
GARealistic is a companion app that turns your MSFS GA flying into a complete aircraft ownership and pilot training simulation.
Every hour you fly costs money — fuel at the going rate, oil changes, tire wear, brake wear, engine time. Land hard enough and you'll crack a gear strut. Hammer the brakes on every rollout and the pads wear down. Push past the red line and the airframe pays for it. Leave the aircraft parked for months and the battery goes flat. Park overnight away from home base and you'll pay for it in the morning.
When components degrade far enough, the failures show up in the sim. Worn-out brakes fail. A neglected vacuum pump kills your attitude indicator. Run the engine ragged and watch the damage percent climb. Fix it at the repair shop — if the airport has a mechanic — and the failures clear.

🏢 NEW — Found Your Own Company
Stop flying for hire and start owning the operation. Found a GA airline or cargo carrier with its own fleet, finances, and staff, fully separate from your personal flying and bank account.
✈️ Cargo & Passenger Routes — recurring cargo contracts and scheduled passenger routes, both shaped by the destination's real-world catchment population and economic profile.
👥 Hire Pilots (Real or AI) — bring on other GARealistic pilots as employees paid by salary, per-flight, or profit-share — or assign an AI pilot to fly routes you don't have time for. Your company keeps earning while you're logged off.
📊 Officers & Equity — bring in co-owners as CEO/CFO/COO/CMO/Director with a real cap table; dividends split automatically by equity stake.
🏦 Company Financials — its own ledger, P&L, loans, and payroll, fully isolated from your personal wallet.
📍 Multi-Hub Growth — expand beyond one base to co-equal economic hubs, each with its own cargo/charter board.
Managed from the Company and Employment tabs. Requires a free community account — company identity and hiring other pilots are inherently online.

🌐 Community Platform
GARealistic now has an online hub — a shared space for the entire GARealistic community. This is optional - the app will work standalone.
🗺️ Live Flight Map — see other GARealistic pilots flying in real time. Your aircraft appears on the map the moment you start a flight, with callsign, aircraft type, altitude, and a trail of your route.
📋 Community Logbook — every completed flight is automatically synced online. Browse the full community log or filter to your own flights.
🛬 Airport Browser — search thousands of airports with runways, frequencies, ILS approaches, based aircraft, fuel prices, mechanic services, and local amenities.
⛽ Community Fuel Prices — signed-in pilots can report real fuel prices and vote on airport services. The more pilots who fly, the richer the data gets.
✅ Community Checklists — share your custom per-aircraft checklist and browse/vote on checklists other pilots have built for the same aircraft type.
Sign in with a free community account on first launch, or continue in standalone mode with all local features intact.

This isn't a panel replacement or a checklist app. It's the ledger that makes every flight — and every business decision — matter, because that engine overhaul is coming, and you're the one paying for it.
Looking for feedback, comments, ideas, and bug reports.

Requires Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 or 2020 to be running for live telemetry. The app will still open without MSFS and data can be managed manually. All data is stored locally in %APPDATA%\GARealistic.

Adding bits to airplanes is a little beyond the capabilities of the app… what did you want to upgrade?

I am flying the G111 RTW at the moment and had planned to keep this as "real" as I can make it including where do I get fuel and oil.
I did have the problem that the #2 engine would always come back with zero oil on every new start of the program.
Now both engines do now show any oil quantity.
Also Obligations Due are always shown in RED even if for example the rent has just been paid on a hangar. No matter if it set to monthly or annually.
Still absolutely love the Add-On.

Still working out kinks, and new features provide new kinks sometimes. I'll have these fixed after next update - thanks for reporting.

Not sure about GSX… focus is on GA aircraft. However, I keep finding things to add after adding the last. Good point about currency, will add that to the list.

GA Realistic
Every hour you fly costs money. GARealistic adds the full weight of aircraft ownership to MSFS — fuel bills, component wear from your actual flying habits, and real in-sim failures when you neglect maintenance. Work charter, cargo, medevac, and backcountry jobs to cover the costs, build a five-tier pilot reputation, grade your IFR approaches and ACS maneuvers against practical test standards, and track everything in a searchable logbook — with a live EFB tablet app for in-cockpit access. Works with MSFS 2024 and 2020.

GARealistic v1.15.0 New: - Configuration window consolidating Edit/POH/Checklist into one tabbed window, plus a new Variables tab for hand-mapping SimVar/L:Var names to any add-on aircraft (12 built-in templates: A2A, Black Square, COWS, Asobo, FSReborn, GotFriends, SimWorks), with live SimConnect wiring and community sharing. - Orientation-based crash damage: crashes are now classified by impact attitude (wing strike vs. nose/prop strike), with a post-flight Damage Report panel, automatic insurance write-off when repair cost exceeds aircraft value, and a persistent trim bias for wing-strike damage. - Replaced every native Windows popup with in-app toasts, an in-window confirm overlay, and a type-to-confirm dialog for destructive actions — nothing gets lost behind a fullscreen MSFS session anymore. - New stock checklist auto-check items: Engine RPM Set for Run-Up, Engine Running, Taxi Light On, Nav Lights On, Mixture Full Rich, Oil Pressure Checked. Fixed: - Tail-number matching: local duplicate-tail detection, "ignore ATC-ID mismatch" setting not fully suppressing warnings, and an aircraft-swap timing gap that could mismatch a stale registration. - SimBrief OFP/.pln loads silently wedging after one unresolvable navaid/fix. - Engine-hours timer silently dropping real flight time on aircraft placement or SimConnect reconnect ("block-time desync"). - Repeated "Continue Flight?" dialog spam on failed engine starts and on stop-at-departure. - IMC/MVFR weather warning citing the wrong cause (visibility vs. cloud/ceiling). - Crash on opening Aircraft Status for upgraders with a pre-v1.14.2 DamageReports table. - POH auto-push flooding the community admin queue with duplicate conflicts. - Community website mobile nav clipped/unreachable in landscape orientation. - EFB Training tab's "not tracked" message now explains why (open the desktop app and start the engine). - Log-spam throttling for aircraft-swap detection during MSFS aircraft-selector browsing. Installation: Extract zip. Copy GARealistic-v1.15.0\ folder to your preferred location and run GARealistic.exe. Copy garealistic-efb\ folder to your MSFS Community folder.
