    CoolGunS New Zealand Airport Collection for FS2024

     

    SU4    IMPORTANT NOTE

    Sim Update 4 has removed hundreds of streamed  objects from the FS2024 SDK, resulting in a lot of FS24 freeware on this website riddled with missing objects. Unless the authors have their own libraries included in their downloads, or embed all of their objects directly into their scenery (BIG downloads), you can safely bet FS24 scenery will be affected. I have posted the issue on the FSDevelopers Forum, but it is early days!

    Luckily, I spotted this early. This collection contains all of my NZ scenery fixed already, having substituted my missing content with suitable available replacements. More in the comments below.

    Hi, and welcome to my New Zealand Airport Collection for FS2024. Within this download are all of my payware quality airfield sceneries for NZ, all contained within one easy download for your convenience. Including all of the ones that have been featured and promoted from time to time by this site's administrators, 3rd party websites and youtube channels.

    Plus one extra surprise, read on.

    Note these are ALL strictly FS2024 versions only.

    Also included in the zip file is my own personal Towered ATC version of NZAR Ardmore Airport which I never uploaded. This features your own fictional hangar next to the Waitemata Aero Club, and the new real hangar connected by the new Delta2 taxiway which was only recently built. Plus some other minor additions that I never published in the original versions here (the FS2020/FS2024 hybrid versions which are still amazing).

    Check it out for yourself and go find that hangar - it is a work of pure art.  This is your reward for having read this far, and for you fellow Kiwi's, spot the L&P bottles... :)

    Sorry all you Ardmore Pilots, this version is strictly for FS2024 only. FS2020 has been retired from my machine, so I cannot edit them further without a major reinstall of FS2020 and a damn good reason. I can still make a Realistic (non towered) version for FS2024 if there is enough demand in the comments section below.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    Just unzip and drag and drop all folders directly into your community folder or addons linker file structure. OVERWRITE if prompted.

    MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL OF THE DEPENDANDIES LISTED!

    You will also need the UK2000 Common Library from the Market Place. Search for it and install it into the game. It is free.

     

    TIP:
    Don't forget to reload your Little Navmap scenery library now and then in order to keep your new airfields accurately portrayed within it. This way all your new taxiway designations are updated among other things.

    LNM automatically searches through your community folder during the process which runs in the background so you can keep simming. Make sure you have all of your addons active in your community folder whenever you do this.

    From the menu bar of LNM:  Scenery Library | Load Scenery Library | press Load. When finished, press Use Database.

    Yup, check your My Library for disabled stuff and reenable it.

    OK, I see I have to be specific with you, even though your original question was not.

    Re-enable all FS2024 SCENERY in your My Library. World updates, all areas, all airports POI's, cities etc. All scenery stuff. FS2024 SCENERY. Got it?

    Remove EVERYTHING from you community folder EXCEPT my content and dependancies.

    Disable all of your PAYWARE. Don't ask me how to do this, google each one its your system.

    Test if whatever mystery thing(s) that was missing has come back.

    If they didn't come back I cannot help you.
    If they did, then reverse the process above until you find what caused it.

    Missing (pink) tree textures for me at NZWK and NZAR. I tried to re-download all the dependencies. I do have Bijan's Seasons Enhanced installed.

    Not sure how to help you with this one, trees come from base game and should render. Never heard of the mod you have installed. Try removing it and see if it fixes it and if not take sceenshots and post them.

    I did find this though "Pink textures in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) when using Bijan's Seasons Enhanced indicate missing or incompatible texture files, often triggered by recent Sim Updates (SU) or conflicts with other mods. "

    Still there after removing Seasons Enhanced.

    I can't tell you if this problem existed for me pre SU4 as I just installed your airports recently.

    edit...
    I tried deleting everything in Community except your airports and deleting scenery, cache, and streamed files. Still pink. I don't know what else to do.

    I eventually fixed the problem. I found a message somewhere that said tree textures came from the USA world update, so I deleted it and re-enabled it, and that fixed it. Your message provided a clue where to look, so thanks.
