Six years ago, I started upgrading MSFS airports just because the default taxiway names were totally wrong. Today, I'm building my own custom taxiway sign objects to enhance my Ramona airport! Here’s some preview screenshots showing off the new rounded shape and accurate real-world font. For comparison, the default one is visible. Major improvements: - Accurate custom shape for this specific airport - Realistic black back panel (instead of yellow) - True double-sided single object (no more overlapping models) The next Ramona update will also feature a revised Cal Fire ramp, thanks to new real-world photos from John M. Actually, some of my assumptions were wrong :) Expect different things. Even better, Jeremy U. (developer of the outstanding payware Hemet KHMT) is donating his custom C-130 and S-70i static models to the project! Stay tuned.

This update brings massive changes to MSFS 2024, blending real-world May 2026 progress with a "prospective" look at the airport's future. What's New: - Cal Fire Ramp Update: 5 new Phos-Chek tanks, a wider taxiway, and a cleaned-up helipad area matching real-world construction. - Future C-130 Setup: A "prospective" drive-through/pass-through taxiway layout and ground refilling stations inspired by Paso Robles (KPRB), complete with realistic red retardant stains! - Fixes & Details: Corrected taxiway edge lighting, removed the old Chuck Hall Aviation gazebo, and added general clutter. Dear Diary! The mod now has a "vertical slice" of a custom damage system. It currently models the lifecycles of glareshield annunciator bulbs and Pitot probes, the former based solely on hours and cycles, the latter based mostly on "abuse" (Pitot heat w/o airflow). All the groundwork of the past months is finally starting to pay off. I'll do a couple more test flights trying to find bugs, in preparation for the next release.
