Still THE airport of choice for my home region, still THE airport i fly around the very most. I may repeat myself, but thanks again for polishing it and optimizing it for the current sim versions. I hope, MS/Asobo ain´t promising too much and we will be able to use it easily in MSFS2024 too.

Hi there. Nice work. But hangar 8 is buggy. First there is a pilar in the center of the hangar which is located inside the plane when you start flght in hangar 8. Furthermore when go inside hangar 8 in drone view, the camera view always jumps up on the top of the hangar instead of walk inside the hangar. Pls adapted this for hangar 8 and then of course i will adapt my rating. Thanks.

Hi,

you are right. The parking spot was placed inconveniently. It was intended for small airplanes, however, it seems like it is possible to get caught in the pillar. We have already fixed this issue by moving the starting point.

The "drone jumping up top" is a known problem introduced by Asobo/Microsoft recently. For some reason 3D models using "collision" and "environmental occlusion" materials cannot be entered by drone anymore.

This has a negative impact on many standard and premium airports created by Asobo as well. We are hoping for a fix in the near future by Asobo.

That being said, we have already removed the occluder in Hangar 8 as a temporary fix, allowing access by drone camera.

All changes will be uploaded as an update shortly.

Hello again,

thank you for your comment. Again, I am very sorry to hear this but there is NO virus. There is no .exe or anything similar contained at all.

I am not sure why this would be flagged by antivirus. About 60 people have downloaded the latest version already, seemingly without issues.

May I ask which Antivir software you are using?

Thanks for the update. Happy to know, that you always looking at it! I can tell you that your work is awesome! I just make my PPL @ Watschinger and I enjoy to have my training circles here on the SIM! It helps me a lot and make me a better pilot because of practicing the routines on the pattern!

Ich habe LOAV und LOAN vor einem Monat gekauft aber erst jetzt dazu gekommen sie auch ausgiebig zu testen.

LOAV war früher mein Heimatflughafen, daher war der Wiedererkennungswert sehr hoch und vertraut.

Von mir bekommt Ihr je 5 Sterne für die beiden Flugplätze und weitere 5 Sterne für all die anderen Arbeiten, die ihr, speziell für Österreich, abgeliefert habt. Danke!

vielen lieben Dank für deine netten Worte! Freut mich/uns wirklich sehr. Genau das war das erklärte Ziel: im Rahmen unserer Möglichkeiten den größtmöglichen Wiedererkennungswert zu bieten. Found a little bug: If the scenery is reloaded after a fly with the drone and come back with the NUM 5 button, sometimes it happens, that the signs left in front of WATSCHINGER and left of the HELI AUSTRIA FLIGHT ACADEMY still are stay pink (display error - I think all sings of this kind are wrong after a reload) and not shown in the right colors. Maybe at the next update you can fix that also! Regards! (But still this scenery is really great! wonderful work. I enjoy it ever time i start my flights!)

This is a fantastic implementation of the airfield! I couldn't wish for more.

LOAV has a really interessting location between LOWW, the city of vienna, and the so called "Wiener Wald" (foothills of the alps)...

... and maybe visit the nearby "Schneeberg" area!

Thank you very much for your nice words! Glad you enjoy it. Wienerwald and Schneeberg area are always worth a visit. Hopefully the forests on the Rax mountain are not on fire in the simulator.

Additionally I would recommend using the ALP for sightseeing flights alongside the "Semmeringbahn".
