INSTALLATION:
After having installed every link above make sure to put them all in your community folder alongside *EVERY* folder that has been provided with this download.
"alext11-airport-lr80-fetesti" ; "alext11-airport-lrft-fetesti" ; "lrftone" ; PLUS DONWLOADED SCENERIES LINKED ABOVE must go to your MSFS "Community" Folder.
KNOWN ISSUES & FIXES:
If you get overlapping or duplicated runways please go into Developer Mode, go to the Tools Tab and select the Packages Order tab. After that you should scroll down and find the navigraph navdata and navigraph base files, you should also find the alext11-airport-lrft-fetesti.
Now, what we need to do is to change the priority. Navigraph-navdata-base should be 1 , alext11-airport-lrft-fetesti should be 2 and navigraph-navdata should be 3.
Just like in the picture here: https://imgur.com/a/dZPbIzx
After you've changed the priority as shown above, go to the main menu, exit your sim then after some seconds or even a minute open it up back again and the issue should be solved....but ..IF by any means you have trouble understanding my instructions, please make sure to read again and also refer to this YouTube tutorial which deals on the same matter but at a different airport: https://youtu.be/JzOTMAh7wIw?si=bqwk4B-lYD0XCZsG.
If you have any more questions or issues please contact me.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
[FUTURE VERSIONS OF THIS SCENERY WILL INCLUDE CUSTOM 3D MODELS OF THE HANGARS AND SHELTERS IN ORDER TO MAKE THE SCENERY AS REALISTIC AS POSSIBLE WHILE AT THE SAME TIME NOT TOO REVEALING DUE TO IT STILL BEING AN ACTIVE AFB IN USE BY ROAF AND NATO.]
The Romanian Air Force 86th Air Base "Lieutenant Aviator Gheorghe Mociorniță" (Romanian: Baza 86 Aeriană "Locotenent aviator Gheorghe Mociorniță") is located in commune Borcea, Călărași County near the town of Fetești. It is currently the home of the 53rd Fighter Squadron (operating Lockheed Martin F-16s). In July 2023, it was announced that the F-16 training center intended for Romanian, Ukrainian and other NATO pilots is to be located at the 86th Air Base. The hub is supported by an international coalition which was formed during the 2023 Vilnius summit. Lockheed Martin, and its subcontractor Draken International will also participate in the project. It is to be organized by Romania, the Netherlands, and the company Draken International. Romania provides the base infrastructure, the Netherlands is to provide the 18 F-16 aircraft for training, while Draken International is to provide the instructors and technicians. The center is set to become operational at the end of the year. The training center will first use the aircraft for refresher training of the hired F-16 instructors. This is to be followed by training of NATO and Ukrainian pilots. Training courses will only take place in NATO airspace.[10]
On 29 August, a Letter of Intent for the establishment of the F-16 Training Center was singed by the Romanian and Dutch Ministries of Defence, and Lockheed Martin during the Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers in Toledo, Spain.
Fetesti AFB or also known as Borcea AFB is the most modern air force base in Romania, having the best infrastructure alongside the best defense. Quite a few of things from this scenery were removed or altered or fictionalized in order to hide possible classified information/locations/objects..etc of the Romanian Air Force and its allies.
This base has hosted many NATO allies and has also participated to many military exercises.
