Beschreibung
Der zugehörige Ordner enthält eine Bemalung für die „de Havilland DH.89 Dragon Rapide“ für den MSFS 2020. Das für diese Bemalung verwendete Freeware-Modell und das Paintkit wurden von Dave Garwood erstellt. Als Grundlage der Bemalung diente das Repaint JK_DH89_VP-KEA von Jan Kees Blom. Herzlichen Dank den beiden Entwicklern.
Diese Bemalung zeigt die erste DH.89 der SWISS AIR LINES (Swissair), die HB – APA. Es ist der 1934 erbaute Prototyp, welcher am
19.07.1934 von der Ostschweizer Aero Gesellschaft in Altenrhein als HB – ARA in Betrieb genommen wurde.
Am 20.03.1937 wurde der Flieger von der neu gegründeten Swissair übernommen und mit der Kennung HB-APA versehen.
Bis Mitte 1956 wurde der Flieger zumeist auf der Strecke Zürich - St.Gallen - München eingesetzt. Nach 1954 ging
die HB – APA in privaten Besitz über und wurde ab 1955 von der Motorfluggruppe Zürich für Rundflüge genutzt. 1959
wurde der Flieger ausser Betrieb genommen. Das Ende erlebte die HB – APA 1962, als sie bei einer Löschübung der
Flughafenfeuerwehr Zürich-Kloten verbrannt wurde.
Das MSFS 2020 Modell der „de Havilland DH.89 Dragon Rapide“ ist auf der Homepage www.sim-outhouse.com erhältlich.
Eine Registration bei dieser Homepage ist nötig. Die Zip-Datei ist in der Warbird-Library/FS 2020 –
Aircraft/Civilian Props/…. eingestellt.
Die Repaints von Jan Kees Blom sind auf www.avsim.net zu finden.
Installation
1. Entpacken Sie an einem temporären Speicherort.
2. Kopieren Sie den Ordner „de Havilland DH.89 HB-APA“ in ihren MSFS 2020 „Community“ Ordner.
3. Öffnen sie im MSFS Hangar die „De Havilland DH.89 Dragon Rapide“ und wählen sie die Bemalung HB – APA aus.
4. Viel Spass beim Fliegen!

This painting shows the first SWISS AIR LINES (Swissair) DH.89, the HB – APA. It is the prototype built in 1934, which

Installation
1. Unzip to a temporary location.
2. Copy the "de Havilland DH.89 HB-APA" folder to your MSFS 2020 "Community" folder.
3. In the MSFS hangar, open the "de Havilland DH.89 Dragon Rapide" and select the livery HB - APA.
4. Have fun flying!
