Say hello to one of the newest additions to our green fleet, Rivero, the Puerto Rican Crested Toad! The Puerto Rican Crested Toad is a critically endangered species, with only one to three thousand remaining in the wild. As the only toad native to Puerto Rico, the population became endangered when the invasive cane toad was released onto the Island to control agricultural pests. Unfortunately, the toad also faces becoming endangered as urban development efforts have destroyed lek breeding pools which the amphibian relies on for reproduction. In 1980, Dr. Juan Rivero of the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez began conservation efforts when he donated four crested toads to the Puerto Rico Zoological Gardens to kickstart breeding efforts. A few years later, in 1984, the American Zoological Association Species Survival Plan got involved in continuing the reproduction of the toad and has produced more than 300,000 tadpoles that live in protected ponds in Puerto Rico. Frontier now honors the conservation efforts of Dr. Juan Rivero by naming our newest fleet tail, Rivero.
As always, your work looks beautiful. I would however like to make a request pertaining to older Frontier liveries you have done, if it isn't too much trouble, can you update the pylon textures on older skins such as N369FR, N376FR, N374FR, N386FR, N381FR, N371FR, N388FR, N380FR, and N372FR? These skins (yes I have all the ones listed installed) feature pylons that are textured white on the front part, like the PW1100G pylon, whereas the LEAP pylon is all stainless steel. your later skins, such as 394 here, feature correctly textured pylons, I just want see all of the F9 skins have that same level of realism, I used to work on these planes and appreciate seeing them in MSFS. Thank you again for your work 😊
