A: No, our mods are completely standalone from the A32NX and you can use them without FBW A32NX installed. However SimBridge is a requirement for the mod to work seamlessly.
Q: What version of FBW are you using?
A: We're using FBW Development
Q: How often do you push updates?
A: Just like Headwind we're not going to provide updates to the core components, or to the FBW systems as often as FBW would do. This is in part due to the frequent updates on FBW experimental branch that would have to have us re-write thousands of lines of code every time there's an update. Also if something important gets added to FBW experimental like the new "Third-party options" then after internal testing we will release those with our mods as well.
Q: Any issues with these mods and FBW A32NX?
A: Not that we know of as of this moment.
Q: Does it have VNAV?
A: As VNAV is part of FBW Development, yes all of our Airbus mods have VNAV
Q: Does it support RNAV Approaches?
A: As soon as this feature gets fully implemented in FBW Experimental, we'll do our best to have it included in our mods as well.
Q: Is it compatible with GSX?
A: Yes all of our mods are compatible with GSX, and GSX boarding and de-boarding is supported also via the EFB. Although GSX de-boarding can lead to unexpected issues.
Q: Fuel consumption is too high
A: If SimBrief doesn't plan enough fuel for your flights, please use the appropriate Google Forms link to report on your fuel consumption etc so that we can finetune the SimBrief profiles in the future.
Q: Does SimBridge have to be installed?
A: Yes, SimBridge has to be installed, while you don't have to have it running when launching into the sim with one of our aircraft, it still needs to be on your computer and fully up-to-date via the FBW Installer
Q: Batteries are showing 0.0v, why?
A: So far the reason that we have found for this was either a corrupted download, and that SimBridge was not present on the computer.
Q: During extraction Windows gives an error saying: Path too long
A: Extract the mod using WinRar, instead of the default Windows unzipper, and make sure that you extract it directly to your community folder.
Q: Do I need to do anything different with v2, compared to v1?
A: Yes delete any zLVFR-A3XXX folders before installing v2
Q: The cabin is invisible on internal views, why?
A: This is not something that we can resolve due to how LVFR handles their models within the simulator as they have their cockpit and cabin models created as one unit. Therefore when we integrate FlyByWire systems the interior is not going to be visible as we're replacing the cockpit altogether resulting in the cabin being gone on internal views
