This mod has two zip-files that both have to be downloaded for it to work.
To install: extract both zip-files together, and place the extracted folder in the MSFS2020 community folder.
With an area of 72km^2 this mod covers the centre of Glasgow with photogrammetry.
The scenery has been optimized with the use of lily texture packer, to greatly reduce file loading times.
The detail level is LOD 17-19.
I would like to thank Thalixte for his Google Earth Optimization Tools, without which this mod would not have been possible. Link to his addon below:

Recommended specs:

Hi
Your excellent programme seems to fit in quite well with the recently released Orbx Great Britain North. Haven't noticed any problems so far. IAs previously mentioned it would be nice to have some detail around the airport, particularly around the approach to runway 23. Cheers

Managed to check this out briefly late last night. Looks fantastic! Thanks for this huge improvement. Would you consider extending it a bit around the airport?

I am actually already working on the Greater Glasgow Area. You can expect it sometime this week.

Its pretty good I must say. Fly at a sensible altitude and it looks great. It runs quite too on my system, just a few hiccups when crossing central Glasgow.

Very nice scenery. Some performance impact on my mid-range system but its still flyable. Here's a small video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t49fUpdUsME

Wow, great video. As for the small stutters, it was always a balance between that and pop-in. As you might have guessed, I decided to minimize the perceived pop-in at the cost of some performance. Hopefully next-gen processors such as the new 5800X3D and zen4 will eliminate those stutters.
