I purchased the Spartan partly because I was unhappy with one I bought from another developer who failed to include a pilot in the exterior view, something that should be a given for any airplane model. Your model has one, so that was a plus. Also the ground handling problems from your initial release had been corrected. . . .another plus. Modeling inside and out is exceptional, flight dynamics seems consistent with the Spartan and it's just fun to fly! My reasons for not giving it five stars. . .No other panel options (I'm not crazy about the off-white), NAV button on the AP doesn't work.

Flies fantastic, take off, cruise, smooth stable landings....BUT totally out of control on tail dropping to runway!! Need help , does not seem to have lockable tailwheel which I think would help. Spent an hour practicing getting the speed down without letting tail drop...but once it drops the aircraft is all over the runway... very disappointing as all other aspects are great....but if you cant land?

I have had a ball flying this aircraft. I just bought it two weeks ago. I was not expecting a whole lot, but, was suprised by the plane and the developer! I like old school planes and this one does not disappoint, it is a tail dragger with a 450HP Pratt and Whittney... So.... know your tail draggers. The modeling and performance is spot on. I only wish it had the old school radio stacks in it as I still love to fly NDB's and stuff, but, I knew it didn't have it when I purchased. I would purchase again. I look forward to what the developer comes up with next. I recommend this plane.
