Ordis (LEWG) is home to just one flight school and many private owners flying locally around the North of Catalonia. The airfield is located in l`Alt Empordà, very close to Figueres, birthplace of Salvador Dalí. Within 30 minutes flight you can get to Girona (LEGE), Perpignan (LFMP), Ampuriabrava (LEAP) or flying into the Pyrinees to La Cerdanya (LECD).
Ordis is a challenging airfield with a strong upslope on runway 34 and a perpendicular short runway of just 310 meters 07/25. When Tramontana wind hits the airfield you will definitely sweat during landing.
